They are a small shop on the sales support side. Rely heavily on their dealers, their dealers are usually hardcore. I used their stuff for vw and Audi 1.8t's and it was solid reliable, never had an issue. It's a set it and forget it mod.

They would be my choice for a 997tt in near future, I hope.

Thanks for all the responses. Just to clarify a few things. First, I have no doubt GIAC is an awesome company and I think their flash tune for the N54 is a great product. I agree 100% that PM's are not the best way to get a hold of a vendor and that the vendors do not live in these forums. Having said that my first contact with GIAC was through the contact email form on their website not PM. I did get an initial response from Austin a few days later. I followed up that response with an additional question on 11/4. No response back so I sent another email days later asking that same question. No response back from them again so I posted 2 PM's here neither of which have been answered. I work midnights so email is typically my best form of communication since I am usually sleeping during the day when companies are open. I do not expect overnight email responses as I realize companies receive dozens if not hundreds of emails a day and it may take time to hear back. But after reading through the responses here I see I am not the only one who has had communication issues with GIAC so I know it is not just me.

If "you usually sleep during the day," you could call GIAC on the days that you don't sleep during the day. Even if you sleep during the day, do you sleep the exact duration as GIAC's business hours? If not, you could call GIAC before going to sleep or when you wake up. I don't mean to hassle you but your excuse for not calling GIAC is far more lame than GIAC not returning your emails.

In the time it took you to write this post you could have called GIAC several times and had your questions answered.

Thanks for 2 very insightful post. I never made any excuse for not calling them. I simply stated that "Since" I work midnights email works better for me. Do you realize in the time it took you to write your 2 replies to my thread I actually got my questions answered by another forum member who did not feel the need to be a "Smartass"?

You are welcome but I don't think my posts were insightful, just common sense. I am glad you got your questions answered. If you choose the GIAC tune, you will be very happy. I apologize for being a "smartass." Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

Having said that, it's a great tune.. Hopefully, your nearest dealer can help you with any questions.

I guess he/or GIAC does not want my business so I will move on to JB4 or Procede for my tune. Kinda ridiculous to have a vendor in the forum ignore potential customers. Anyone other then Austin that works for GIAC in here who would like to help me feel free to email. If not I will contact Shiv for the Procede or Terry for the JB4 as I am sure they would both be very helpful.

Thanks
Replied to you. As noted, I haven't need on the computer enough recently. I am getting caught up now, though.

Thanks for the kind words. I do try to help everyone as best I can. I get spread a bit thin sometimes, though.
