Congrats man. It takes balls to drop $22k on a car and hope you can resell it for $8k more a couple of months down the line. I've thought of doing it a few times, but I just can't :P. I don't know enough to do everything and make money. I stick to my own reselling business that I've picked up over the past year. It's something I know (video games) and it works out fine for me. I want to order a 1M so badly, but I can see how my parents would react and it wouldn't be favorable(yes I still live with them o_o). My only hope is someone hits my car and totals it, but I'm not going to be wishing that any time soon. I like not getting injured and don't want anyone getting hurt either.

Unacceptable! Take it to the TRACK where it belongs!

I'll be driving down to Motorsports Ranch and World Speedway! I've also never been to the track at Crescent. I've heard it's great.

I hope your talking about a circuit, drag racing is

This was never the hope at all. Everything I own is for sale, at a price. I just threw it up for a ridiculously high price, and off it went.

Won't be putting the 1m up for sale, really tired of doing this. Plus dealing with people buying my car, and people potentially kicking my tires is beyond frustrating.

Phenomenal story man. Thanks for sharing knowing as well that you have to write another long one once you take possession of the 1M. Good luck!

Not I. You and 05M are in the minority with your envy over this man's balls and passion to live. Life is short and we don't know when we'll go, and he's done a heck of a job so far in following his dreams. Every true car guy should have no problem getting this.

agreed. Good story, but 'balls and passion to live?' he resold cars....the only role he played was a used car dealer. This is what their entire life is, and they certainly don't have 'balls and a passion to live'.

Again props to the OP, but people are taking this just a bit too far in the glory category.

Thanks and good post!

Your right it doesn't take balls or passion to flip cars. It also certainly didn't take balls to do what I did, I loved every one of those cars and would of been happy to keep them.

Anyone who knows me in person knows though that I do have an extreme passion for BMWs, maybe bordering on an obsession, during the Super Bowl I got a few texts from people all in regards to the BMW ads. Specifically for the 3er.

I certainly have NO desire to be a used car dealer though, ewwwww. No offense to any, just not my cup if tea.

lol, yes. A little overstated by me but seriously, you have to remember why he played used car salesman - to feed his passion for cars he wanted so heavy props well-deserved. And don't be blinded by stereotype. Some used car dealers are so passionate about cars, they actually like what they do. I would, especially if those used cars were BMWs.

Personally, I think its a great story. I heard of another one similar to it some years ago. This guy purchased a Porsche Boxster doing the same thing you pretty much did (flippin cars).. It was on the news (I believe)...
I wouldnt even sweat what some of these envious\haters are throwing at you. In the end, YOU will be the one driving a 1M down the road, with a big ass smile on your face from ear to ear.... So, who cares what they say to you on a internet forum... Everyone has their own financial situations here. As far as I'm concerned, you shouldnt have to justify, explain or clarify yourself to anyone..

I suppose im just confused at where you mentioned you have a job and steady income that you can afford a 50k car.

You got a hand-me down Nissan from your grandmom.. Had a friend respray it for free.. Then rip one of your other friends off by charging double what you paid. Nice. Then.. Because your parents liked what you did they put up additional funds to buy you a rsx ? In the mean time you buy an rx7 money pit and couldn't figure out the turbos werent spooling before buying ? Then you buy a 22k BMW and resell.. Prob cleared 2k after the taxes in and back out of it.... I'm just confused at how you buy a 50k car from this.

And who's paying for your med school ?

Call me a hater, but Im 25 and could pick up a 1m with cash in full but guess what, I won't. And you can say I'm not a car guy and wouldn't understand but you'll be wrong again since iv got the title to an M car already.

in the end, i really dont care what you do so go ahead.. spend, spend, spend.
I know i should not be feeding another troll. but this one's real feisty..

And you can say I'm not a car guy and wouldn't understand but you'll be wrong again since iv got the title to an M car already.

GTFO.

I have really convinced myself too that if for whatever reason I cannot get the 1m (I cannot think of what it would be unless dealer allocation really is 2 per) that I will still be more than satisfied with me 135.

My peers think I'm crazy for selling my 135.
Whats your delivery date? Im No. 2 @ my dealer with an April Production. I Do work in DFW so We just might see each other around!

Got cold feet right before placing deposit, but after talking to some members here, specifically Sam, I've decided to go ahead and do so. Thanks Sam!

I did tell my dealer that I'd LIKE to take delivery of the car during the summer, but if I've gotta wait, then I'll gladly wait.

Just noticed your 'little' collection, got me droooooling! VERY nice, loving all the black, is your secret identity Bruce Wayne? Oh wow, and coral red! Great choices!

I checked today and confirmed......

that I do indeed have the air miles to pay for a trip to Europe. I will be Munich bound later this year to take delivery of the car from Welt. To say I'm excited would be a complete understatement.

It's an experience you'll never forget! (Try to take delivery the day after you arrive. The lack of sleep and jet lag is a killer)

I might of died by sleep deprivation by then. I already can't sleep until I hear from my dealer that my allocation is confirmed!

I was originally going to just take delivery and drive it to Harms, but that's no fun. Look like I'll be making a vacation out of it as well. I'm going to invest in one of those HDpro cameras and take video of the drive. I saw someone do that in the e90 forum and it was spectacular.
