Delays!

I have seen order dates, production dates, and shipment dates all over the board on here and it just based on luck rather than where you are in line. I always figure if you place an order for a car in December verus someone placing an order in Jan, you will get your car first. I guess not.

Reddemon, It actually goes by the dealers allocation slot. In other words, if the dealer you go to doesn't have an allocation slot to modify a car until 4th week production of march, then you wouldn't have a production until 4th week of march. But if someone goes to another dealership that has an allocation slot open for 3rd week of march that can still be modified, then naturally they will have an earlier production date.

Do you know what ship we are on? My guy said he would call me when it gets on a boat. I'm pretty sure he wants the car to come faster than I do...since I call him almost every day. ha

I order a 335ix on 12/27. The last status I received a few days ago was that it's still on order, not even in production yet. I heard something about the factory being retools early in 2011. Perhaps its true. I'm on the path of a 2+ month wait easily

My car made it on the Fedora! Left 2/5 and arrives 2/19. Heading to Southhampton as I type. I'm gonna stalk that shit out of that bad boy until it is in my greedy little hands! Can't believe its going to take 3 months!!

Hey Neuro,

What is the latest on your car? Have you called the 800 number to verify production status? If not, call 800-831-1117, its an automated system. You can ask silicon sally what your "vehicle production status" is and give her your production number.

Ordered on 12/27 and still not in production seams like a long time. I ordered a 335d on 1/27 and I am in the same spot you are. By bet is a 3month wait.

My car made it on the Elektra, scheduled to arrive on the 23rd of Feb!!

Almost three months for me as well...

I ordered my car from the dealer on 2/2 and it is scheduled to be completed 02/14...It is currently in the paint shop...anyone with me in that time frame?
