Kudos to Bluefin/Superchips for calmly taking me through the process.

Does it feel like a new car? No.
Have I noticed better fuel consumption. No.
I am I glad I did it. Yes!

The car feels subtly better during normal driving. Just that little bit more urgent, more willing to respond. And when I flick it into hoon mode (sports/manual) I can break traction in third (albeit briefly if nanny controls are on). But it's not the difference between night and day and anyone who thinks that a $650 tune that is guaranteed to keep the engine within tolerances is going to give them a new car is kidding themselves.

As for fuel economy, I generally drive short distances round central Sydney so wasn't expecting much anyway.

Anyway, in my book, money well spent. Easily the cheapest way of squeezing that bit more from your bimmer (unless getting rid of run flats counts.....).
Good to see its up and running. I didnt notice any improvement in fuel consumption either. I think my right foot got heavier since the remap therefore it is actually consumption went up for me.

Yeah, really interesting observation - and you only spent $650.

Makes those comedians at Evolve even more funnier - $1,800 for a tune!!
