Just wanted to update this thread with my thoughts over the past 6 months..

As many of you know, I quickly grew tired of the bouncy ride that H&R Sports gave on stock shocks. The car did not feel composed at all over undulations in the road, especially at highway speeds. I finally broke down and purchased a set of Bilstein Sport Shocks barely used off an E90Post member. I wasn't too impressed with the change in ride quality at first. For the first week of use, the car really felt identical to when I had my stock shocks. However, as I now close out the 2nd week of having the shocks installed, the ride has become increasingly smoother and much better composed. It seems that the bounciness has subsided and a firm yet composed ride has resulted. I'm very pleased with this set up and can confidently recommend it to any xDrive owner wishing to upgrade their suspension. The car feels planted in corners, composed over most road surfaces and generally comfortable for every day driving. Hopefully this helps anyone struggling with deciding on a suspension set up.
