Since I was missing my o-ring for the BOV I decided to go ahead and pick up 1/4" ID line for the vacuum as well.

It's now a stepped 1/8" ID to 1/4" ID hose.

I'm not super optimistic about the zipties holding the lines in place for the adapter but the line coming off the intake from the factory nipple hasn't blown off with a ziptie holding it in place so I'm not super worried either. I definitely didn't mess around with the hose clamp on the nipple fitting for the BOV though.

If nothing else, at least now I have a splice section in the line to run a boost gauge tap from.

As Tiago said, a healthy N54 at sea level will require the 11lb spring.

If you are not at sea level then you may need a different spring.

If your at or near sea level and not pulling the normal vacuum then you have a leak in some fashion or gunked up intake valves.
This is perfect. I'll check my box to confirm.

That's my setup.. I don't even have the zip ties on the adapter, and definitely didn't bother touching the manifold nipple at all.

I was thinking about a boost gauge.. Would just have to replace the adapter with a T, but it seems it almost has to be custom for a single piece..

EDIT: Just noticed you have Barbera Red as well.

Fuel hose is essentially what I'm using. It's more than adequate for what you need.

Ok got the hks bov on but I can twist it in the flange. The snap ring is in correct so is this normal?

I got it tight to where it doesn't move. I did this by using the same snap ring pliers I got from sears(crafts man) but I turned 1 of the heads vertical to act like a clamp! Just protect the bottom with some paper towel so it doesn't scratch to much.

I used this to push in the snap ring all the way in so it wouldn't twist. Before i had it on but was able to move it freely by hand. Now it doesn't move.

So i finally got everything hooked up. Took me 2 hours. When I went for a test drive i heard a pop and i knew i didn't tighten down the clamp enough. As im tightening it i hit a hose with the back end of the ratchet and boom! Cover in coolant. . Just my luck.

Thanks

That happens a lot. I never did it myself but I've heard of a bunch of people running into that same situation.

Nah, I was supposed to get some stuff but that never came through.
Regardless.. check your order when you get it. I had a missing worm clamp. Again, no big deal because I have materials laying around, but still..

Packing error? I don't know. Just check yours, it could be 100%. I could just be a minority.

I was planning to buy one (with Tial BOV) but now not sure if I will. I'm not a mechanic and don't have parts (vacuum line, clamps, etc.) laying in my garage. If VRSF or a vendor here (N54Tuning, TGS, etc.) are willing to ship missing parts for extra $$$ I will buy from them... otherwise no I will wait or buy another brand such as ER.
