Thanks. It's an old Panasonic TZ-1 that I had converted to shoot IR only.
I've always been fascinated by IR photography, and started shooting IR in B&W and color when I was in Korea in the 1970's.

The old eastern span of the bay bridge closed for good this past Wednesday. My buddy wanted to document crossing the old bridge for the last time. I loaned him some of my gear. Here was his setup

Nice rack, Dave. From your M3 blind?
Cool shot, Paul. Love the colors. Great shot, Brian. Sure you want to host your stuff on FB, though? Their latest "privacy" statement seems more like a license to steal your images for their own use. And as I posted this, the shot of the cheetah (or no?) showed up. Very cool. And talk about bugs.

Great stuff here again this weekend. Love the deer and the big cat, which I believe is actually a leopard.
Cheetahs have distinct markings on their face and are smaller... 20130517-_MG_7142 by lennycarl08, on Flickr |

Migration season is almost upon us, which makes me happy. The Hawk migration has actually already started, and I may head out to Marin and Hawk Hill next weekend. The local ducks of course, don't seem to pay any attention. Ducks on Pinole Creek by lennycarl08, on Flickr |

Yep, the big cat with the trailing "fan club" is a leopard. It seems that leopards actually have rosettes (similar to the markings on a jaguar) rather than spots. |
