Nice house. Costs more than everyone in my family tree has ever made. LOL
Cool shot, Denn.

Actually, this was quite a lot of work. This photo is a pano of 13 shots (portrait orientation). The exposure was difficult as I wanted to protect the sky detail and not loose the color in the foreground and mountains. Straight out of the camera, the RAW files were quite bland, lots of cloud detail, but bland! As I explained to my wife, once in a while I have a plan for a shot before I take it, and even more infrequently, the plan works! Last edited by IRide; 10-04-2013 at 06:11 PM.. |

Those little hornworm bastages ate all my tomatoes the last time I attempted to grow some
Great pic, though. Love the way Zeiss lenses render.

I was hanging out by the bay this afternoon and got to watch a bunch of ducks flying down the creek toward open water. It's about that time of year to get back into practice of tracking very fast birds, and ducks really do fly incredibly fast.

I replaced my Sigma 15mm f/2.8 fisheye with a used Canon 15mm f/2.8 fisheye. I think that the Canon is a little sharper out in the corners, particularly when I de-fish the image, as below:
