cool
im assuming this:
if the regular 330 reflash gives i think i rmr u guys said 10 HP to a 330
with mods like intake/exhaust/and 93 octane im assuming i can get maybe 15 HP total, instead of the regular 10 HP.

also just to clear things up for us 325 guys... this 330 reflash and intake manifold will not only put us at 255 HP (stock 330 hp) but + 10 HP on top of that right? so 265 HP? bcuz isnt that what a REAL 330 wud get from this reflash?

well a 330 is supposed to have 258hp so add 15 to that and you get 273, but i think that may be a little opptimistic, but what im wondering is how a 328 with this will dyno because its slightly different

A little too optimistic is right...we don't even have definitive confirmation the ECU+intake mainfold = 330i power. That on top of the sourcing problems makes a whole lot of 325 owners eager to part with their hard-earned (or not so hard-earned) cash. I'm setting my expectations low and my patience high...that way, if anything significant comes from this, I'll be ecstatic. Who knows how many months it'll take for this to pan out? I hope you prove me wrong, Evan!

while that guess is def to optimistic, i see no reason why we cant eventually get to those numbers because in my opinion if we dont see reasonably close to that (more than 260 at the crank) i think it just means that creative messed up and hasnt quite cracked the code which cant be impossible so it seems its just a matter of time

Alright, preliminary pricing is about $1040 for all the OEM parts. I'm still gonna try to get better pricing for you guys.

I'd definately give this a shot at those OEM prices + $400 if it will give me 40 hp at the crank. $35/hp is a pretty good deal IMO. Kind of like adding headers on a big V8 - similar figures.

I'm itching for a HP boost while still being able to hold on to my lowly 325i for a couple more years.

Glad to see some progress being made! Now we need an official guinea pig car (325i manual or auto) with before and after dynos. If the figures look good enough, we can start one of those group buy lists and hopefully get the vendor to knock down the price.

no 1040 is just for the intake manifold, at the moment the reflash is another 500 or so i believe

At the moment this is a complete pipe dream. I am really shocked that Creative is announcing their efforts on selling this mod when they still have yet to prove that it actually works. One would have thought that all of their efforts would be on showing the public the viability of this.

to some extent they have, unfortunately the guinie pig wasnt ideal, it was an at all wheel drive model so while we do know it did gain power we dont know exactly how much. but i agree and think before numerous people buy we should have another trial done.
