Here are the available colors, not sure about the yellow. They have yellow available only when the powder coating co. runs it
Chrome Red Blue Black The full -top filter is a unit we are not using on this (335) kit. Marty |

Thx all for your interest in the #AC335 air filter kit. As of today there are 15 buyers confirmed and 2 (check your PMs) unconfirmed. So the Racers Net price stands at $325.00/ ea. The 20+ price will discount the units to $300.00/ea.
If we reach 30+, I will throw in free FedEx ground/ins freight to the 50 states. Have a good 3 day Holiday, more time for cold Coronas (shameless plug) Marty |

I'm sure the sound WAV files will be made by one of the members purchasing the system in the next couple of weeks. Induction sound is pretty much canceled due to all of the sound deadener on this car...windows down= much better sound candy. However our test car had all oe exhaust also, so rather subdued WOT sounds anyhow.
Dyno tests Before/ After were conducted real world with hood closed. Only thing missing was the real -time road draft air that would normally cool things better @ 145 mph ( speed indicated on Dynojet 248c). This was also on a +90 deg. f L.A. day. More dyno discussion is posted on this topic at the F.I section. Marty |

so do you think you'll get more power with an exhaust system?

Ulises...so far we haven't seen any significant RWHP gains from exhausts. Even the dyno shop that ran our car, performed extensive tests on a major catback system (CA mfg.) on another 335i 2 weeks earlier...with no gains at all in RWHP. But don't get me wrong...the exhaust is only one link in the induction system. When combined in the proper way, starting of course with the air flow to the compressor inlets, cam profiles (turbos are not fond of big in/ex overlap ), decent header ( cast manifold) design-- not too choked up in the turbine area (hot side), improved downpipes, high flow cats and a low restriction cat back mufflers...then every component compliments each other, yielding max gains. In the N/A world it is commonly referred to as I/H/E; or simply Intake Header Exhaust for the combined HP gain.
Here's a peek at the V10 (M5 left side) prototype exhaust header system we developed for a major tuning Co. that is making decent HP/ TQ. over the oe and even over a World Renowned over$eas mfg. Too bad BMW cast their 335i turbine sections right into their exhaust manifolds , that will be the ultimate limiting factor in jumping past the 400 bhp mark IMO. Marty |

Marty, A couple of questions, 1) any problems running this intake with any of the boxes: TT,Procede, Xcede, etc. 2) Any problems with the intake throwing any codes even if your not running one of those units, just running as a stand alone intake ? 10-15 min install or uninstall time isnt too bad in case we have to go to the dealership for any kind of service. If the answer to the above two questions are no, please add me to the list.

Bobby, the test car we are using has logged approx 2,000 miles on it with NO c-e-l 's whatsoever. This is as a stand alone "Filter uprade only" (msds AC335 unit); and about 1,000 miles in conjunction with a PROcede unit. The PROcede was one of the earlier styles (1.45 ?) that our customer found on ebay. Driving also includes numerous trips to Palm Springs, check your weather link just to see how hot it's been there lately
At the dyno our baseline (all stock) was 258.69 RWHP, then added the AC335 filter kit: 271.58, and before leaving we installed the PROcede : 295.79 The PROcede adapted quite well and quickly to the filter mod. I am not sure about the adaptability of the other (brand) ecu upgrades that you mentioned. Best to contact them directly with your Q & A's. If you decide to be part of the GB, please PM us Thx. So here is a tentative GB list as of today for the pn AC335 MSDS filter kit:
down4it Grac "07"BobbyBimmer Bimmer335i 07 Valentine Laca335i Dinan335i HyperM3 NPDan UKRBMW GasHero MontegoNik Curt Blitz335 Pushok132 - 2 kits Topend Perf -2 kits PeteyP AKBMW Afroman So if this group of 21 stays "As is /or greater" the price is $300.00 ea. That's -$75.00 off of the Racers Net price at our www.msdsinc.com site. You will need to confirm your order with us by PM, tel, fax, email, or snailmail, by the 3rd week in September, 2007. If the confirmed GB count goes down , then please refer to the price breakdown TTT (first post). When our ACST2 stage 2 remote filter location kit ( CAI-bolts on to the AC335 sys) finishes up prototyping and dyno tests...we will also offer a GB to our customers. Our remote filter kit is NOT low mounted and will NOT endanger your engine from ingesting water--which can cause the engine to hydraulic lock Thanks for your interest in MSDS products... Marty |
