Going to sound crazy at roll racing!

I would imagine it sounds louder than what it does on the video Brule. Have you put a hole or slot in the hood as yet? With less back pressure now, will the tune require a few changes?

I havent cut the bonnet.

I do not know until I log it.
Im not sure if the 4 inch full exhaust had any power reducing backpressure at 600hp.

I will see in 2 weeks at dyno.

All ill have to is adjust duty cycle up or down. Its very quick and easy to change on jb4

Great to see the modded factory manifolds going hard. Saw your listing and seems like a great budget ST upgrade, which most N54 fans are into!

You may be onto a winner with this.

Great win Brule. Your car is consistently quick at roll racing. It would be interesting to see how it performs over the 1/4 with your latest mods.

It is faster on 26psi boost with boost ramped in very slow. Any higher consistent launching and traction is gone.
Tyres are 1 year old were at 18psi but felt like they were new grip wise.

It would be the same at the drags maybe 10.5 on a great run.

Needs other diff gears in to kick arse at the drags.
Also not allowed to run it at drags until I get a roll cage.

Yeah, it's not going to be easy to fit, but if you want a sick sounding N54 it would be totally worth going for an equal length style. Would be fun to fab it up.

The JMC one is split up into 3 pieces and has the awkward chargepipe routing and water pump bolt spacers. Might be easier to design and fit if you run a single gate as opposed to twin gates, or weld the one to the rear housing like you normally do with your kits.

Yea no way am I putting wastegates down there.
Waterpump can stay if you use a 60 degree fitting instead of 45 degree.

I understand the sound is unreal.
I call him the greek god lol.

Single Turbo dyno results Precision 6466 1.0AR T4 divided. T4 divided both manifolds.
Plazmaman Intercooler
Plazmaman Intake manifold
750cc port injection
Jb4

Log manifold Full 4 inch exhaust, turbo guard
17psi 9 degrees 341kw
28psi 9 degrees 465kw
30 degree ambient last September

Stock manifold, 3.5inch exhaust out bonnet and BMS Shorty Air filter
17psi 9 degrees 336kw
28psi 9 degrees 473kw
28 degrees ambient today

What I learned from this testing is:

Stock or log manifolds are not a restriction at these power levels.

Bms air filter is not a restriction at 470+kw. The turbo guard made the same power and wgdc was the same.

Duty Cycle on boost was that close either had enough backpressure to change the power level.
For example both fluctuate 27-32 29-34 in the higher rpm. Lower duty was on 4 inch full exhaust.

Exhaust out bonnet needs to go back to a normal exhaust.

Plazmaman intercooler is very good cannot heat soak it. At last run it was a stable 96f or 35 degree C in 28 degree ambients. Pretty much started and finished same temp run after.

This setup did a 10.7 1/4 on 26psi.
