Bradford is not bad. In fact, they are pretty ok. He used to run the car wash at the Prudential and that was where I took my car to for washes when I moved to Boston.

i think the 335i is tiny enough that I'll wash it myself - i cant be bothered to wash the Hummer that often - hence i'll take the swirls from allston car wash :-p
my friend swears by a car wash joint in Belmont and it's just down the road from where I live. The apt building i live in used to let peeps wash their cars on the parking lot but since some kids got too loud washing their cars (no idea how that could be), they discontinued it.. sucks.. I think it's just their lame excuse since the management changed..

I detail cars on the side out of my shop in Burlington if anyone is interested in getting a quality hand wash. I also offer complete details if you are looking for more than a wash.
I can send examples of my work to anyone who is interested |

What is your turnaround time for a detail and for a hand wash? Where are you located?

I tried Luxury Details in Framingham. They did a great job.

A full detail can take anywhere from 8 hours up to 2 days, depending on what you are looking for. A top quality hand wash usually takes about an hour or so, which includes hand wash, extensive cleaning of wheels and tires, hand dry, wipe down door jambs and dress tires. Weekdays are usually a little hectic for just a wash, so I prefer weekends, but am available anytime. |

The touchless in Norwood is not bad - it gets the pollen off. Don't know about salt yet as I just got mine at the end of March and always used soft cloth places before getting my BMW

Hi All, I am new here. I was googling for detailer services/shops in Boston and came across your site. I do not know whether I am eligible to post here because I do not have BMW but I am looking for detailing my Rav4. Could somebody advice.

Rick at Unique Car Care in Wakefield does fantastic work. If you want the job done right, he's your man. His username here is RickRack, so you might want to drop him a line. If you're going the DIY route there are a few of us here that can certainly help you out, myself included.

Hi jopa489, Very thankful to you for your reply.
First of all, mine is Rav4 2010 model (base). My colour is black forest pearl. I like to DIY because I cannot afford the high prices professional detailers may charge. But, the big question in my head: How to DIY? I also do not have washing facility as I live in an apartment complex. I sincerely like to learn and do it myself to save some money which help to cater my family needs. Many thanks again. |
