Shiv said to me n another thread that their would be a good benefit from just adding the intake. Of course not as much benefit as intake + DP's, and catback but Gator should see some decent whp from getting Vishnu's intake on a new map if he still doesn't want to play with the exhaust on a leased car.

I'm still contemplating DP's, I guess the economy and my job picture at the time this thing is released will be bounced against other priorities. I have other hobbies that are expensive to, and only so much money to go around.

Very happy 2.0.2 customer here.

I am hoping the new version V2.1 will give me back 1st gear. I have a step and find it really hard not to hit rev limiter in first gear, cause it spools up so f***** fast. If the new version breaks the torque/boost modulation down to gear specific ranges this would be the fix. Probably means another wire. I can't be the only one htting rev limiter in 1st, am I?

I would consider Shiv's new intake if it's a simple, quick DIY install/uninstall and relatively inexpensive; if not, then, I'll just stick with the stock intake and BMC Air Filter.

I can understand that. My car isn't leased and I still want to make sure I can flip it back to stock in a 24-48 hour period if needed.

24-48 hrs??? I'd like the ability to go back to stock with 2 hrs....PROcede v2 and anything else out and back to stock quickly, so I can transfer them to my next 335i.

There will be two version of v2.1. One for catless cars as well as one for catted cars. We will be offering it to our beta test group within the next week

Shiv,

The v2.1 map for catted cars -- with that also be for 335i's with stock air intake and stock exhaust as well?

SJ
Its in the center of the rear near the control arms of the wheels...I spoke to my exhaust installer and he said it would not be a problem to re-align the 2nd part of the exhaust to make it work, worst case scenario is he could fabricate one to make it fit to the 3 third section of a cast back system...

First of all, in regards to your first comment.....you're wrong. Yes he is enthusiastic about his tune...but what the hells wrong with that?

On your second comment....I'm not sure why you would have a "report" of his postings. Sounds a bit weird if you ask me. Why would you care what he posts?

Lastly, in regards to gator mentioning another tuner in a procede thread.....holy shit stop the presses....this is the first time this has ever happened! Keep in mind he started this thread, so who gives a shit.
