In which case the ESS supercharger exists. The n52 simply wasn't built for turbos hence why they developed to the n54/n55 for it.

Supercharging works since its a lot less stress on the bottom end as others have mentioned.

Curious if it was legit and if there was a manifold that you could buy for the car seeing as how it doesn't come with one.
I noticed no where in on this website it said that this kit was made for the n52 or 328. It just says e90

in that case, swap the motor. it still makes more sense to use an N54/N55 for turbo, it's literally built for it. I bet it would cost less than a properly built turbo N52, and it could use all factory parts.

I saw that too! So it might actually just be for a N54?

No. I'm pretty sure it's equivalent to the generic ebay kits. It's just a collection of parts with "E90" slapped on the website.

The 30 PSI remark is how much boost is able to be controlled using the boost controller. It doesn't mean you have to run 30 PSI.

It's also worth noting, that PSI is not a measurement of power, it's a measurement of restriction in the intake manifold.

30 PSI on a single turbo GT28 VS GT45 are going to lead to different HP figures.

A GT45 turbo is much larger and produces a lot more CFM and velocity of air.

It seems to be a generic universal kit so if you intend on buying the kit plan on doing a little fab work, plus there is always the tuning aspect that needs to be worked out as well.

I'd sooner go with a proven plug and play Supercharger kit if I was looking for more power.
