I tried the gun metal plastidip six coats and then the glossifier six coats on 189s , plastidip went on great , nice and smooth and consstant with a satin like finish, look good on the work bench. I mounted summer rubber and put them on a sapphire black e92 look like SHIIIIIIIIT, I mean realy realy bad not even close to what I expected. The good news is if you prep wheels corectly and put enough on it realy does peal off very easily. Complaints about removal issues are more than likley due to poor prep and application. Gonna try some of the silver metalizer on a spare wheel over original silver base just to see what it looks like, again gonna peal it off if it looks bad no harm no foul, just a couple of bucks and a few beers beats helping clean the house with the wife. Good luck with mods

Don't get an after market exhaust. Just drill holes in your muffler.
Check out Pep-Boy's for M3 stickers, those are pretty cheap.
Put film over all your headlights/tail lights for a super sleeked out look.
Make sure to change the roundel colors on the hood and trunk. Don't bother with a kit - a sharpie works
Put some motorsport stripes on your hood, side skirts and throughout the interior.
Get some super cheap headlight housings off of eBay that change colors to blue/red.
Green foglights help, too.
Did you get a vape kit yet along with tight denim pants?
Tow hook is a MUST. The OEM version won't work, get a brightly colored one.
Check out your local mall for customized eruo front plate. Cool ideas include "LOLVTEC" or "IEATV8S". Something subtle and natural usually works best.
You can delete your side markers easily with simple spray paint. Get rid of that nasty amber color.
I know this list sounds like a lot of time and money. I found switching to cheaper gas to help me fund my mods a viable option.
If you have nothing nice to say, then go cover something else on your car with carbon fiber.
New people come to this forum looking for advice and help and there are so many, what seems to be, disgruntled people on this forum. Everyone should be here to better the 3 series community.
