I think you made a very good choice. Wayne is supposed to be a great guy to deal with.

Is there a GC Lite Vargas turbo kit for UK e90 335i?

Hi everyone, I'm looking to take my 335i e90 to the next level. I'm currently running a Jb4 Stage 3 which is great but wanting another 100-200 bhp. Does the Vargas GC Lite fit UK models yet? Thanks

you should wait for the frankenturbo kits. I believe they have a couple beta sets out now being ran and they might be for sale soon. its suppose to be a cheaper solution. hopefully more reliable than most twin aftermarket setups.

There is also an Aussie company that do a RHD single turbo conversion. Currently looking at this for mine.

Nice to see another Guernsey owner on here.

FrankenTurbo is still working out the kinks in their design. With WMI and E85 they've only managed 440whp.

VTT stage 1's are what im running @ 498whp on E50. - these turbos are the max possible without going TBI / PI / Meth.

I just don't know if I'd be comfortable being an early adapter of a cheap, untested turbo from a vendor who has so far only proven how he cannot make simple graphs and whose only superpower is ignoring community feedback. They may prove to be great, but I wouldn't want to jump on that train first with my money.

I think Doug has a decent product, but from what I have seen his VW/VAG turbos are good yet his N54 turbos struggle to meet other proven vendors.

Im all ears to hear what he has about his product when it goes from beta to alpha testing.

I know the ALPHAbet can be tricky, but Beta doesn't come first.

Bear in mind that 440whp figure is with "Stage1-like-objects" which are by no means the specs of our upcoming product line. They're plain jane rebuilt turbos with Ebay 14T compressor wheels and hacked-up (clipped) turbine rotors. We are thorough with our testing and in our market research. Evaluation of the "Stage1" design that's so common is just one step in our process.

Thx
