Thing I like best about SG is that it's understated - which works great for me when I'm 10+ over and the man is looking for prey - I just blend into the sea of other 4 dr sedans.

Like black and other dark colors, it does show swirls if you're not careful. I was in a hurry and made the mistake of taking mine to an auto car wash, and it still shows some marks ($#@!, but no one to blame but myself)

I'll either get another SG when the lease is up, or maybe Monaco

I love Sparkling Graphite, no regrets at all. The only bummer is they discontinued it, as I'd love to get an E90 M3 in SG to replace the E90 335i. I'd like to buy a slightly used E90 M3, so that means I'll be stuck trying to find a 2008 only.

Of course, I may say "screw it!" and get a P-Car instead (996TT's are getting pretty affordable.....)

Keep in mind, I leased the vehicle on Nov. 3 when there was one 08 335i coupe left on the lot besides the one I chose.

I had to go with the sparkling graphite and was wishing for space gray or black as they are safer choices. My question is does anyone regret getting sparkling graphite or have you grown to love your color choice? I just dont know why some people like graphite. On a sporty car like a 335i it just doesnt suit it well. It seems like a less serious color would make the car look nicer? I keep on trying to convince myself it is a nice color and one day I'd be okay with it. It makes me wonder why I didnt just get a 335i sedan in black as it is the nicest color on the e90.
love the color ...

It looks good, I just can't stand the purple I see in it.

Sparkling graphite is now a classic because it is not in production any more

also remember it's James Bond's type of color choice too

No regrets. At first I wanted silver, but SG is so much more mysterious, sleek. SG FTW.

I sometimes look at my car and just tell myself it's sparkling graphite.

Um, if you know anything about leases then you know he got a pretty good deal espically with no money down.

I didn't miss his first question, he asked whether he got a good deal, not whether we thought leasing was a good option or not.

[QUOTE=tom @ eas;3687229]Hell no.

I second Tom's comment. I had an '07 328i in SG and now an '08 335i in SG. Love the color. Probably would have gone with the Space Gray for an '09 but I got a sweet deal on my 335i so stuck with the '08.

BTW, that is damn near one of the sweetest looking new M3's I've seen. Great combo!

My Lord, the 335i looks like a civic compared to an Aston Martin's styling...

I like the SG when it is clean and properly waxed. It is one of my favorite BMW colors of all time.
