Joined the EQS lease craze and got myself one at $480/month. Dialed it in with a DIY detail, paint correction, and ceramic coat.

I don't like how it looks as much as the next guy, but that's a lot of car for the money. S-class would probably be easy $2000+/mo with $0 down.

I normally pay all the drive-offs (tax, title, registration, acq. fee) upfront anyway. So my effective payment was $480. I was looking at an i4 eDrive35 too, but that was going for about $580/month.

Not today, but last week. Purchased a MY23 Q5 on May 9. Stock the Q5 sits way too high off the tires and the wheels suck, even with the Black Optics package so had H&R Sport Springs installed and purchased new take off set of the Audi SQ5 Black Optic wheels. Ride seems softer than stock and handles much better. This is the way the Q5 should come from the factory…

At the weekend changed the oil on the Honda which I've had nearly a year now, had to use a chain wrench to get the old oil filter canister off, (which itself was damaged by someone trying to take it off and failing) The old oil seemed quite thick as these take 0W20 FS oil which is quite thin, 3.7 litres went in and all running well.

I did a OnePay lease (all lease payments upfront) to drop the MF. So it was $14.5K out the door with no car payment. The effective payment assuming I would pay the registration, title, and acquisition fees up front would be $480 though. The funny part about the 7,500/year limit is that the over-mileage penalties for going to 10K/year are cheaper than a outright 10K/year lease.

Installed injen intake with new turbo inlet piping in the bronco. Also fixed my shite resonator install (no pics of that). Had to take a picture of the tiny turbo(s) on the 2.7.

Noticed the convertible top mechanism wasn’t working very well today and topped it up with hydraulic fluid (gosh dangit… CHF hydraulic fluid sure is expensive )
Also gave her 0.5L of motor oil. She’s burning about 1L per 1,000 miles right now. |
