I haven't been to the Air Force Museum in years, great suggestion! Maybe Greene in morning --> AFM for those interested? Esp good for you guys coming from Cleveland or C-bus.

King's Island is packed on weekends (even in the f'in rain). I live near it and see the traffic leaving at night.

June 10th enthusiastauto is having an open house gathering of all bmwcaa around this area. Eric Keller, the owner has formerly pass the news to me to invite fellow bmw owners. It's from 6pm-9pm. I might attend if I'm free. Just passing along.

I'm in as long as it isn't in the second half of July. Hopefully lots of people can come, a cruise later that night needs to happen.

Johnny, I presume you don't have to be a member to attend this open house?

So I am proposing Jully 11th at the Greene in Dayton. Then cruise over to the Airforce Museum?? (that was a question) Let's see if we can get a few vendors, etc. to join in. I can see if anyone from Cincy Speed can attend. Also, Rixster (Columbus) should be there. Are then any other local/semi local performance auto shops, parts dealers, etc. around that would be good to have attend?

Can we get people to start posting this summer meer]t on some other boards, etc. I feel like the more the merrier. I feel we can show the East and West coast guys that we can get some sick assed cars together for some fun, information and some awesome pictures (hell maybe we should invite the Midwest Bikini team to make for some great photos with our cars).

So let's get the word out and make this one hell of an event, something that we should do every summer!!

Ideas are welcome.

Did the meet at Enthusiast Auto happen on June 10? It was raining all damn day and I didn't have time to check for an update at work.

Meet proposed for July 11th above confirmed? I'm down for it.

I really think we should set a firm date. July 11th seems to work and it has been kicked around. We just need to put this thing in action and plan on it.

Yes...July 11th. Dayton. The Greene or Wright Patterson Air Force Museum? Or both. The museum is only open til 5pm. So if we go to both where first, last and times? What time works for everyone?

11th sounds good. If the Greene is a mall - you should check ahead of time if they'll let you use the parking lot if a decent amount of cars show up. Once you start taking pics, the mall cops usually go Reno911 on your ass..

Yes, it did, the rain held up for the little time that I was there. Lots of E30 M3s, a few E46 M3s, two previous gen. 5 series (one of which was murdered and badass), an older Ferrari

and a Z4M coupe. About sums it up. I felt a little awkward and out of place not being a BMW CCA member.

p.s. Who was in the white 335 with folded mirrors that parked in the lot across the street? License plate had "RD" something rather on it. I parked right next to you but you left before I did.

It 'twas I. I think I saw you drive in, but got distracted and didn't see you get out.

I feel you about being a lil akward, but I think I'm going to join the BMWCCA, so hopefully it won't be that way next time.

I did join BMWCCA a couple of months ago and have yet to attend an event, but maybe we can see if some of those who are in the local chapters would want to also attend our summer meet?

We are working on some of the details for this meet, and should soon have everything set and then we just need people to attend and Mother Nature to cooperate on the selected date (still TBD).

After this meet we can all meet up at the BMWCCA events and we will at least know each other.
