No doubt. No one will mess with you now, that's for sure.

The Muay Thai training has been useful to me. My Starbucks record is 2-0. Although I'm a calm person, it's sad that a lot of meat heads out there aren't. Both cases were in self defense in which I knocked out the opponent.

And yes sparring is very fun..both mentally and physically. I find myself often shadow box whenever I approach a pole..people probably think I'm nuts.

I take Jiu jitsu at Gracie Barra Academy in Fullerton. Let me know if you want to join or do a free intro.

Maybe after you start training, you can star in the next Never Back Down. We'll all come to the premier ...a-hole.

That's Legends MMA on La Brea, just a few blocks from me. From what I've heard from others who've been there, it's like $2000/month to train at that gym |

I went to the Fight Forum on Montrose and was impressed. I had fun. I got my ass handed to me, I won't lie because I had no idea what to do. The trainers especially were cool and willing to teach at any level. The more advanced students there would each as well. When I was grappling with someone he had me in like 3 different choke holds and I had to ask how to get out of them and he showed me. The class I took was a no Gi class but the rest of the classes they offer need Gis.
It's about a hundred bucks a month and it's closer to my office than anything else so it is really convenient. They have MMA classes too which are offered in the price. |
