Wrong! There is control from the radio. You can adjust the Aux volume and compensate for the IPOD.

The other option is to use the line out, if you get something like the Monstor iCarCharger (which I have and others on here have recommended) then I think this is a good solution, the pros are:
As I said before in conjuction with this if you have/get a wired remote for the iPod you just dangle it out of the arm rest and shut the arm rest so it dangles above the iDrive knob and you can control the iPod without having to get it out. |

Some of you folks know I just bought my e90 2006 330i, loaded. When I was talking with the sales advisers (I have two for some reason, lol) Marco noticed the Apple sticker on the back of my MINI and said he was a Mac user as well and since I seemed pretty technical wanted to ask me a question.
Wanted to know how to rip/copy dvds from lackluster video, etc.... I said I have the software to do it, but I need something from you. I dont' want to pay for labour on the iPOd install, just the parts, which equates to something like 349.00 or w/e. He went and talked to his sales manager who came over and needed a copy of Macromedia/Adobe Studio MX and he said he'd make it happen. I guess good things really do happen to evil people LOL |

Do you see any mention of this in you 335i manual? Is it possible ask you SA if the 335i needs open console surgery or if its like the e60 and you just have to remove the glove box drill a hole and you are done? Thanks |

I was just quoted $490 USD installed by my dealer.
It sounds like they haven't done an install yet, so I would likely be the first. I really want to get the iDrive adapter, but I just can't justify spending $500 for an adapter for a device that costs $250-400. |
