damn just be thankful it wasn't a speeding ticket..
I've had 3 speeding ticket within 9 months now and they were all only 5-10 miles over the speed limit but where I live cops are just assholes and are out to get you I'd say the best thing to do would be to find someone that knows a cop that can write it off..

Well thats unfortunate for you, socal busts everybody for everything!
My brother has no plate on the front his car and tinted front windows and he hasn't been pulled over for it yet. To answer the plate question, I say go for the tow hook. I'm sure it'll look sick with the plate offseted to the side.

ahah for the front plate, I say 3M it on the sides will do, because the tow hook will give u a gap behind it and people walking around it can fuck it up easily. here is mine

I double sided taped mine. When I went to pull it off it wouldn't budge...2 months later, still on strong and haven't gotten around to getting a heat gun to take it off!

I actually double side my plates 4 times. The cop didn't even get near my car. All of them look at from a distance and sign it off.

you can also swap plates with a stock lci, cops don't check vin. As long as the color and plates match info on the ticket.

pay the ticket for the tint, first offense is a 118$ ticket. thats less then taking it off and re-tinting.
I used the double sided tape out here in Simi Valley and worked for me took it off in the parking lot too lol |

Not having a rear plate increases your chances of getting pulled over. We recently went past a bridge toll booth holding our fastrak device and a CHP pulled us over. He thought we were trying to scam the system because he didn't see the fastrak device and we didn't have a rear plate because the car was new. We had the temporary registration glued to the windshield but he didn't see it. Imagine if that happens some night when you've had a little too much to drink? Disaster.

And +1 on them not checking. Had a few plate tickets signed. One times they asked me if it was fixed and didn't even look at the car. Edit: PM "alpinedevil335" he's LA local and has an AW lci. Maybe you guys can work something out. |
