Thanks for the positive comments - I was worried it was sat a bit low (although you can't really alter that can you!? I think i'm just paranoid because I know i'm a fraud! To anyone else it probably looks the same without getting really close up underneath!

Made me laugh, when we got back the mrs said "looks ok, I thought it was supposed to be shiny though?" My response ... DID YOU NOT NOTICE WE WERE DRIVING BACK IN SNOW ON A MOTORWAY!? WHAT DO YOU EXPECT?!!

WOMEN!!

I wondered how long it would be before a 330 / 335 owner shot me down :-)

Heres another

Why pretend it's a 6 cylinder in the first place....

You'll get demolished by most warm hatches who think they've taken on a mighty 3.0ltr....

Most people that know anything about cars know that twin tailpipes on a BMW = 6 cylinder. Agreed they look better though, but cmon, you are a 'pretender'

I try not to bite either :-)

I will openly admit that I can't afford the insurance on a 6 cylinder never mind the cost of the car. Im a 25 year old guy just a few years out of uni (car all paid for too might I add!)! Maybe one day i'll be able to afford a 335...

Plus, I use my car on my 70 mile daily commute and generaly drive on cruise at 70mph, so my exhaust tip is indeed purely for looks.

I'd say your average joe knows no difference though! I certainly wouldn't have a clue what exhausts different Merc models have!

As for debadging - it was really easy, especially as it was -1 outside and snowing when I did it. If it was a nice day I suspect it would be even easier!

Here's the finished result:

im interested - how close is this powerflow tip compared with the original one? do you have a close-up pic?

looking on their site looks like theres a few dealers near me.

thanks
