Wherever you do go, or pay, you should find a hand wash place for about 20-25.

They generally do excellent work, dry the car thoroughly, and use better products that are safer.

Automatic car washes, especially touch-less often use abrassive chemicals to clean the car since there is no brushes.

And as we all know the brush-auto car washes just leave the lasts cars dirt on there plasticy-rubbery, brushes, inducing scratches, RIDS, and swirls.

Granted it does take more time for the hand wash, but they usually have 4 guys taking car of the car at once.

Well worth the time.

No swirl marks and scratches FTW

Make sure they are using microfiber products, and let them know how much you care about the quality of work.

listen any hand wash place that charges five or even ten bucks for a hand wash are ripping there employees off. you should go to a place that takes pride in there work and there staff .no less than fifteen is fair and no more than twenty five is fair i speak from experiance.

I have the garage attendant had wash it. He charges $25.00. I worked with him the first few times and showed him how I wanted it done. I provide the wash mits, the microfiber towels, the wheel brushes and all of the supplies. They are stored in a special place and only used on my car.

After the car is washed it is covered and parked between two columns.

You have to be determined to if you want to keep a car in pristine condition in Manhattan.

LOL. Can you take a direct sun shot of your car?

I would never ever let anyone touch my car. For $15 you get swirls. But I guess we all look at paint differently.

It's not that I'm a snob either. I just don't think anyone cares about my car more than I do. (Actually, I know that).

Naturally, I will do a better job and be more careful. Do you think a pay carwash will hand dry my car by "blotting" the paint with microfiber as I do? Nah, they're just going to wipe her down with a half clean towel.

That's what I do quite often, especially in the winter months.

where is this at??? Ill take my car there for that service! LOL

Haha, only when the temp is above 0! I am sure you know this just as well as I do. Most of the gas stations close their car washes bellow zero..

In that case the car stays dirty
