Alot of JB owers that I have spoke to have the impression that the Can functions features will be incorporated into the tune itself like the V4....I told them it would be another module but they didn't believe me...Mike will the future JB4 have it incorporated into one module and tune together or this is it? If not, why would you not make it all in one package like V4.....

So in December the new Jb3 will be almost exactly like the V4 which has CAN capabilities into the circuit board correct? I dont want to be telling people false info when indeed I am wrong!

Why don't they reveal at least one thing that the Procede V4 doesn't do? I just feel like they copied the current Procede features but didn't bring anything new to the table...
And it CAN clear codes... but we're still gonna have to buy the BT tool. That was one thing I hoped BMS would fix about CAN clearing codes |

For the average user who just wants to read/delete codes I don't imagine they will need the BT tool. The BT is a full featured diagnostic tool though and certainly has its place in the tool box for any serious enthusiast. On the upcoming JB3 board you'll just have to wait for the feature set. Mike |

Will this product be upgradable? As you add more feature, will this pruduct be able to update with a firmware update?

Me and mike might have our differences but at the end of the day this is a neat piece to have.
Ignition timing and IAT are both very important tools to have. More so the ignition aspect. Combine that with code clearing and the other stuff goodies and this is a step in the right direction for the tunes mentioned above that dont have these capabilities yet. If you cant see the benefit in that, you shouldnt touch a car. |

See edit--- I really like that ignition option. Would like to have that myself.
Datalogging is cool but real time ignition, that is a first. |

I would be too worried about kicking out the cable everytime I get in or out of the car. How secure is that thing plugged into the port 24/7? What happens if you do kick it out, or worse yet break the port by hitting it?

So the CAN tool can just splice into your exsisting dme harness in the ecu box as well?
However you didn't answer my questions. Is there any negative affect if the obdII port cable comes out during operation? If you can install it inside the dme box that would be much better, cause like stated, I would break that off within a week 100 percent. |
