I'm 20yo with state farm and was quoted $2000 a year for the 335. $1800 or so if i took the defensive driving course which i will most likely do. Not too bad for my age and very close to the city

29yo, 07 E90 335i, geico with maxed coverage. clean driving record, live in the financial district in manhattan 250/500 BI 100 PD 50 PIP 25 OBEL 100 APIP 10 MED 250/500 uninsured motorist $500 comprehensive, no glass deductible $1000 collision 30/900 rental reimbursement $475 for 6 months. This is the first time i've had insurance under my own name-- when i lived in brooklyn, for my R i was quoted 7K a year so the lease and insurance was under my parents policy, dropped it to 3K a year for 100/300 coverage. actually geico probably has good reason to not like me, i keep hiring people away from them I just did a quote online, then called in with my vin because the 335i isnt on their site. I shopped around with almost all the other companies, the closest to geico was 1800 for the year with allstate. no thanks. i think alot of it has to do with what part of NYC you live in. I did a quote for my car using my old address. 2500 a year. or the fact i'm about to turn 30

Yup, premium for my is higher than yours and I have clean record and older too. But my address is not in manhattan. Brooklyn has the highest auto insurance rate due to theft and other auto insurance scams.

damn I hate all you people!! I'm paying $381 a month x 6 = 2286 x 2= $4572 a year   No wonder I keep trying to figure out where all my money goes each paycheck!!
23 year old & 1st car could this possibly be why it's so high? I'm losing my mind comparing it to all you other guys.

fraud... brooklyn is home to a disproportionate amount of liability claims.

23 and 1 speeding ticket
I pay ~$2700 a year for full coverage w/$500 deductable. I also just added my '01 E46 back onto the policy for $950 a year with the same coverage. Both vehicles are insured under an LLC but I am listed as the primary driver.

I'm currently uninsured, being that I don't have a car. I simply submitted my info at the website for a quote in anticipation of coverage for when the car gets here. I dont remember the specific coverages because it was a couple months ago, and that quote has since expired. I do remember collision/comp had $500 deductibles, and everything else had fairly adequate coverage. Hope this helps.

Online quote from GEICO tells me my coverage would be about 1k per yr. Calling them up, they told me it will be 2.5k per year..so I say F U and hung up (just kidding, I asked but they have no explanation, just said, that I've been w/ GEICO before so you're not eligible for a discounted rate, suckerzz)....when I was w/ GEICO, they raise my rates every year without a reason..

im 21 i just bought a 328xi coupe, im paying $1302 for 6 months for full coverage with Geico, i have a pretty bad record too (3 accidents and at least 4 tickets for various things) i was suprised to see such a low quote, other ppl such as Progressive and Esurance want at least $2100 for six months
