wow, i'm pretty surprised that a lot of people have not heard of them.
the three big customers for the company i work for all use it. sap actually has some buildings right by my work.

SAP is one of the larger ones we KNEW were priced way out of our league. I did some initial installation/setup when the regional Navy Accounting office was planning to switch over.
We're implementing a similar, smaller system called HTE. We're UNaffectionately referring to it as HaTE, but that's probably more because it's NEW than anything else. People hate change. Although one other local City uses SAP, and they have really large upgrade costs. I think they were saying the latest patch they were forced into cost about $60K for the software, and $500K for implementation support. |

yes, that is what i heard too. I think they make it hard to migrate to another application so they dont loose existin customers.
