You need to search around and find out if that statement is true. I have not heard of any problems with people running meth through the ER charge pipe. Im sure if there have been any problems people would have reported it on here.

Meth bung was too close to TB for me to get good timing.... I moved it to the elbow and everything looked great after that when running JB3. Might be different with proceed. Bung was also too deep to get CM or DO nozzles to the ID of the pipe. ER is making me a pipe with bungs on the FMIC side of the DVs and shallow enough for CM nozzles to reach the ID of the pipe.

Oh, okay thats good to know. Good thing I don't plan on running meth, I would be pretty disappointed.

Obviously you want Stett, so get it; it is also a good charge pipe.

Read some of that and search for "Stett Charge Pipe meth bungs"

Can anyone verify that this looks correct? It seems like it should be more snug, but thats as close as I could get it. It almost seems like its further away than last time. Still seems to be a good connection and there are no signs of a boost leak. Sorry for the awful iphone picture!

Yeah, that seems like the best spot; BMS sells a good elbow.

wait wait wait wait wait I don't get it , the late 09 charge pipe doesn't come off of elbow like the older models, so I can't buy just the charge pipe ?

Yes, I am positive, because I lost power on the dyno after running meth on stage 2+ for GIAC vs just stage 2. The timing is off because the meth does not have time to atomize. It's common logic too. ER stopped using meth because on their race car because they saw a power drop and just decided to run race fuel all the time on the track. Once the bung is moved the problem will be solved. I'm still waiting on mine, it has been over a month and a half...

All you have to do is buy the meth elbow or wait for er to update the cp.

I'm in the market for a CP now, and after seeing how many people like the ER CP then I guess I'm going this route. I also see that almost everyone here runs BOVs. I'm running black Forge DVs so I'm a bit confuse now. I also read mix reviews abt BOV more bad than good!. Wa to do, wa to do???
