All I know is that my car with the PROcede is exactly what I want. To go back to stock or anything less would be a disappointment. Throttle response, smoothness, torque at any rpm above 1500, etc.. is so impressive.
The downloading of the maps is a snap. Plus the price is a lot less.

I don't abuse the car and drive to full boost with my foot mashed to the floor every stop light. I do want to keep the car for years and treat it with respect. When I want a swift lane change, on ramp acceleration, or the occasional impressing of my friends ... I know its there.

I don't think anything is shipping out today. It's 5:10pm here in the west coast and no tracking number emailed yet....

That means Dinan's will be 4,999. J/k.

2500 is a lot for a flash. Those gains in a Stage I... Maybe they will have a Stage II that matches the PROcede...but at what cost? Just makes the cost of the PROcede look even more reasonable considering what it offered.

Seriously, $2500 for a reflash (as in NO hardware or product costs on their end whatsover) is crazy.

I have an E36 M3 with a Turner/Conforti reflash that cost me $350. $2500??!!!

I have to call Will and tell him what he should reflash . . .

I talked to Dinan and Scott there said the flash when ready should be about $400. Therefore if they are pumpin out some real hp then I will go that route & keep my warranty. Scott said they are lookin into a radiator upgrade since the i/c my be blocking the efficiency of the radiator making things run a bit warmer than it should. All in all I want 400+hp & 400+tq and I want it yesterday!

These guys are crazy to think that ppl wil spend $2,500 for an extra 35WHP/34RWTQ when for half the price, you can get more than double the additional HP and TQ with the PROcede.

I guess they may sell some units, but maybe only to those ppl who don't do the research and don't know about the PROcede.

btw -- doesn't a "reflashed" ECU also compromise the car's warranty? I'm pretty sure that if BMW finds out your "new" ECU has been altered, they could throw a fit. They make it sound like a "piggyback" it's so much "safer" than the alternatives.

There is no way in hell that Dinan will reflash your ECU, making PROcede power levels, while maintaining your warranty for $400.

They may sell the flash for that, but not with a Dinan warranty.
