I know I take a lot of heat for not getting comfort access too, but I just didn't feel the need. Also no doubt that it is great, but we have to eventually decide what our priorities are for options (unless we just get everything, which most of us don't).
I understand priorities!

Hey, how come I don't see the lemon interior selectable on the BMWNA site?

Okay, I think you're going to like the 15 more HP and and all that new torque, but do I see IT anywhere???Noooooooooooo, it's all about the money, eh?

Just kidding. I vote for the ZSP..the seats, wheel, and wheels are amazing and I wish I had them too. Although since you can afford it, the interior amenities come in a very close second.

Lemon is a Priority One option, that is not publicized. You have to know about it and ask your CA to order it. It's a 'secret' option.

I figure the extra 15 HP will offset the addition of x drive, as compared to my 325i. Still, if I can feel some differnce - all the better! Nice catch amigo!

Yep - the x drive / ZSP combo gives me the best of both I think... and what do you mean I can afford it? The bank can afford it... I can only afford the payments.

Zep, contrary to popular belief, xDrive robs you of ZERO power. That 328 with xDrive is a monster car (well, not a 335) and the way you have equipped it will blow your mind. I figure you won't get sick of it for a very long time.

I'm at 66,000kms since Nov 1 2005, and the car is like brand new to me....the seats are as comfortable as day one, and my heart still beats a little faster everytime I start my 50 mile commute....your new ride is going to be a long-term keeper!!

I think you're right Stew. Maybe not less power, but 150 lbs. more weight. Like always having a passenger I guess.

I agree on the longevity prospect. I hope to have this one awhile, and that was the goal when I selected the options. I didn't want to be saying in a year "man, I wish I had gotten xyz".

is the xyz option another secret package???lol

and I think lemon leather adds weight too, as does the added heft of the steering wheel and the second iDrive hump.........(yes I am mocking you just a bit)

Seriously, my 325xi has slightly heavier steering because of the appartus up front, but apart from that your new 328 should keep you happy for a long time.....now BMWNA is another issue loL!!

Maybe you should cut back on those sausage, egg & cheese sandwiches for breakfast and those BK Stackers for lunch?

As the time approaches to get my car (hopefully about a week or so away now), I find that I think mostly about the Lemon interior and sport package... I think those are going to be my first infatuations!

The iDrive/NAV will get a lot of attention too, because I'll be using it to set my preferences, get the feel of it, etc.

I think you'll be surprised with the PDC too. Okay it's not as cool as the extra horses or the lemon interior (kinda wish I had known about all of these "non-official" options prior to ordering). I had sports package on my last 2 bimmers so maybe I don't see it as such a big deal, or just don't know any different. But when I stuck it in reverse and I could see EXACTLY where I was going on the screen that was pretty cool. I'm also pretty taken with the CA but you didn't get that one. Love my gadgets!

I think KL2DC just about nailed it with his prediction. I haven't driven the car a lot (still just have 300 miles on it).

I'm still madly in love with the lemon interior, and don't know if I'll ever get over that. The sports package is great too, from the look and feel of the wheel (those satin inserts make a world of difference) to the way the seats hug you through the turns. The 159 wheels are possibly the most underrated wheels for the E90 and look amazing.

I'm still learning iDrive's functions, so it is a lot of fun. The iPod adaptor is awesome! I'm diggin' the 6 programmable buttons that can store anything from audio sources or phone numbers to navigation destinations...

I haven't done enough night driving yet to be jazzed by the Xenons, but the first night I had it I immediately noticed the adaptive headlights and that was very cool. They are nice to look at though, and the angel eyes make a nice greeting when you unlock the car.
