long crank under Procede V5 map 3

I am running 3-30 DCI with 47k on the car. Can't figure out why the crank is long.

Yes i was not keen on the long crank on maps 3-30 and i got the farting noise i went back to 2-14 DIC maps and this one is smooth as silk starts immediately and no farting noise and plenty of power, tho just waiting till shiv fixers these problems and i will try the new maps again to see the changes.

We have a fix for that. Been sent to a few people. Just testing a couple more fixes (cruise control, start-up delay) and will release a new firmware file when its been put through its paces.

my car cranks for 1 to 1.5 seconds after updating to 3-30 DIC maps

runs fine though

Awesome! I ran a scan tonight and some codes came up that no one can figure out. They are 2FCA, 2FDA, and 2FDB. Any idea shiv??

+1 Mine varies from instantaneous startup to 2-2.5 seconds... It's getting old quick, so I'm looking forward to this new firmware!

You will run into adaption issues when running map 3 too long on 12/17. I took a trip from Los Angeles to Santa Maria. Great gas mileage and I was on it pretty good. However, as soon as I switched back to map 1 it was stumbling under WOT in 2nd and 3rd gear.

did you try to search for them on the forum? those codes are normal if you are running one of the newest BMW software and dont mean anything.

I did. They are related mostly to the JB stuff. I was running a JB+ for almost two years before I switched to the Procede but no one has found an exact answer to what those three codes are.
