Get the car....and get an extra job...a bullshit job like something you would do when you were in high school...like working at the Gap or TGI Fridays (no offense to anyone who might work there) and with your new car...you can bang out all of the hot 18 years old sluts that work there.

Congrats on the wife.

you dont HAVE to take the car. If its going to be a serious issue, call them up and cancel. You'll get your deposit back. Depending how pissed they get also depends on how long it takes them to refund you...

fix your financial/ personal problems, then worry about the car.

This could be interesting.

My wife would compare well against the M Roadster...

...but her friends...they are more in the X5 class if you know what I mean...

As to the OP: As to your life, we dont know enough to give you advice. Sounds like you dont have kids, which is a good thing, if the marriage is going to fail, best it happens before children are involved. Also, if she really gave no notice and then left one day, sounds like she may not be very dependable. But its not mine to say, I only know what you have told us.

If you can swing it, keep the BMW, it will give you something exciting in your life to get through. Just make sure she doesnt get it in the settlement!

In this new situation and considering your need of 2 incomes for a new BMW to be safe and comfy, ask your deposit back.

two jobs would keep him busy...

idle mind is a terrible thing during the divorce/seperation period... plus he would meet people.

as a goof rent a movie called "defending your life" in essence if you dont take chances you will not goto heaven.

Think of it like this: you have till the end of the month to work things out with your wife. So use the time to sort that out.

The car part of it is really very simple: the deposit is refundable, as others have pointed out. No dealer will hold that against you, especially if you have a good reason for it.

Good luck!

Really shallow response. Anyway don't listen to this guy. I had a girlfriend who I had no idea took anti-depressants. She decided to go off of them cold-turkey which is a very dangerous thing to do. She was a nightmare to me and her child. She told me that she realized she had been treating us both poorly and explained about her depression and that she had stopped taking her pills the last night we were together. She was a totally different person when un-medicated, I didn't know who she was. There are alot of depressed people out there doing irrational things. It is not always about doing something wrong or the sex. Lots of people have real mental problems.

you got that right...Besides there's very few women I trust these days..

Best advice, hold off gettin married until you absolutely know... There's

nothin wrong with living w/ a girlfriend for years and not being married.

divorce is time and money...

CA is a community property state. Half of everything is hers - assets AND bills. Go to court and make sure she pays her half.

It's not that easy maddog

they are seperated... and he wants to get back with her... if he takes her to court now he'll burn the bridge... if it or any of it still exists

so he's left to foot the bill. however keep recipts and if divorce does happen hopefully you will be reimbursed for paying her 1/2 during the seperation.

Four days ago, I came home from work, found a note on the kitchen counter, and my wife had moved out of our home. She left me in quite a bind in more ways than one, but financially I'm worried. We lived on 2 incomes and now she is withholding her income and I am on my own with all our expenses and bills.

I want my wife back and am not sure if it will happen or when. Everything was mostly fine between us when I ordered the 335i. My friends and family tell me it's just bad timing, among other things.

I have this new car coming and I am worried about making it on my own finacially even without the new car expense, but I am really worried about adding the new car to my list of expenses. It was not going to be a problem with 2 incomes, but now...

Anyway, my dilemna is do I lose the $1000 deposit and forget my 335i or do pick the car up at the dealership toward the end of this month??

I ordered this car exactly to my wishes and for almost 2 months I look at pictures of 335s and read the forums all about E90s on a daily basis. I think about the car a lot and have looked forward to the day I get to experience everything about the new 335i.

What do do, what to do...

Any ideas or suggestions from my fellow BMW enthusiasts???
I could never give you proper advise without seeing the whole picture such as income, expenses, etc. personally if i was going through anything like what you are going through, the last place i would seek advise is an Internet forum. sorry for saying this but no one can give you great advise here without seeing some real numbers. i truly feel for you man.

Granted - he's in an ugly, no-win situation.

Hope everything works out for the OP.

To me a car is nothing next to my wife. I would ride a bike to have my wife back in your situation. Concentrate on what is important.
