I only had 2000 miles on mine in 6 months, so I decided to take a trip up I5 from Southern California to the Bay Area. With many bursts over 100mph ,even going up the Grapevine, my average MPG was 26mph. On the way back from Oakland to Salinas (100miles approx), I averaged 30.5mpg. And then for the rest of the way, driving fairy aggressively, and getting stuck in stop and go traffic from Goleta to Carpinteria, I still average 27mpg for the whole trip. Not bad for such a powerful car, and considering my MPG up to date was 14.2MPG, (short, in town driving).

You sure got it right...a BMW for "cruising (rapidly) in comfort" and the GT3 for play. I'd like my garage to have a GT3 like that someday as well. Well done. Well done. Just dont go and post a picture of your hard driving supermodel wife and make me sob quietly to myself.
