I should never have read the fastest possible transfer from VPC to dealer thread. I just made the wait harder. Maybe I can get work as a longshoreman for a few days?

Can't copy and post the map image very easily, so here's a link to sailwx.info's Liberty tracking page. It seems to have turned to more of a northwest heading. Maybe we should call the skipper and tell him to turn the wheel just a little to the left?

Hey guys, I found this in the Asian Chorus thread. We can check the status of our ship's arrival in NYC at this site:

Click on Vessel Activity and type in "WRYX" as the call sign. It looks like as of yesterday our ship's still on time, scheduled to arrive on 6/4/07 @ approx 5PM!

I don't know what I like better about these updates -- knowing where my car is in the world or being able to gloat at a buddy of mine that chose to "wait a year" to upgrade his e46 330 though the tool of real-time tracking?

Looks like she made a lot of progress over night!! If we get to Newfoundland quick, maybe we can see her from shore? Or we could drop some kayaks or jet skis in the water and try and head her off for a glance?

Do you think our cars know they are this loved? (I need some serious help!!)

I good day indeed. I was getting worried when there were no interim updates yesterday. Apparently, the skipper knew what he was doing turning a bit north. Maybe he's done this before?

I was thinking about heading up to Newfoundland and renting a powerglider so I could buzz the ship and try to get a glimpse of the cargo. Maybe land on the deck and say hi if there's room.

Seems so. I'm wicked jealous that your car has such a short ride from VPC to your dealer. The NJ to Boston trip isn't terrible, but still. . . . .

Seems like such a short trip, right? Well, one of the members on here who recently received his car ordered from the same dealership as me and it took 6 days from port -> pickup @ dealership. Either way, I still have faith I'll be driving it next week!

So its supposed to dock in NY sunday at 4? Where does it then go? It says it will leave at 11. Does it go to Nj? I live in chicago, where is my car gonna get dropped off?

It says NY, but it's really the port in NJ. Not sure if your car will be dropped in NJ or SC, but it would seem more logical for it to be dropped in NJ.
