Your first sentence sounds like you did a drive with the NLS off and got no codes. But the second sentence sounds like you did the drive with the NLS off and got the same codes as before. Clarify please.

Sorry, I should quote when responding tto specific quesitons. Features on (NLS/2-Step), I get codes. Features off, no codes.

Thanks for all the help. I must say, this site is full of great people who are always willing to help. Thanks a lot.

I am hoping this is user error and I figure out what I am doing wrong.

Are you getting the codes when you trigger the ignition cut? If you set the ON RPM and the OFF RPM too close together, you can get misfire codes. As mentioned in the instructions, try to set them 100rpm apart for starters.

When you say features on, you mean that it is enabled and you are actually using it?

As Shiv said earlier, a lot of the codes are related to the ign cut and nothing to worry about. The only ones that are cause for concern are the 1070x codes, which are misfires. Do they reoccur everytime you do NLS or 2-step? Can you feel the car misfiring after the NLS?

When the features are enabled, I get the codes even when not actually using the features.

I had a 50rpm split on the on-off. I will try 100.

Thanks again.

Ok, set a 100rpm split. No codes this time. But no boost either. I will try 50 split again and report back. I am hoping the first time was a fluke.
Thanks

Ok, put in a 50rpm split and still does not build boost at 3000rpm. I did get codes (11801, 11804, 11805), but no light. So I think I am in the right direction but not sure why no boost. Maybe 1psi or 2.

I think the software does not do 50 RPM increments, if you go back and look it probably rounded up so your on off values are the same and thus the codes.
I tried the 2 step on my car and I can't see it building boost either, not even 1 psi and I tried 2400 and 2500 for on off values.

I'm looking at the fuel gauge for the boost, maybe it's not very accurate so I'll have to try and log this.

It will do a 50 rpm increment, but once you input it, it will not show it as it rounds the numbers off. It is still there though. Try it at a higher rpm and see if it builds boost. I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't be building boost if it is actually 2-stepping.

I will try 100rpm again at higher rpms and see if it builds. May just not be enough rpms to build boost.

Shiv, where can we have diagram on wiring both NLS and PWM relays? I've had the NLS relay sitting in my glovebox for 3 months now.

There is a step by step instruction guide on procede tuning.com. That is what I used. Has pics too.

I have two relays, not one. One for PWM meth and other for NLS. I don't know how to wire em up to work together.

Update: 2-Step and NLS are working awesome! I still get codes, but no light. Codes easily reset and even clear over time by themselves.

Thanks for all the help!

I know this is an old thread but I'm having the exact same issue and after a lot of searching haven't found a solution. Do you recall how you solved this?
