still finding that hard to believe , why would they make the e9x m3's barely any faster than the 335i's ? so if i have only JB4 on map 5 and a dci, everything else stock, i can beat a e9x M3?

A tune typically adds a lot of power on turbo cars. Trying to make an additional 60-80 horsepower at the wheels on most cars would be a huge undertaking.

No, these is not enough. You need FBO and E85.

Are you guys seeing any of these signs with your tune? Just curious
That usually happens when you get a fuel pressure code, turn auto-clear off and do a 3rd gear WOT and see if you get a code. Chances are very likely this is what is. I am FBO with the G5 board and had these codes and was also messing with manual auto loop to fix the issue. I would get the fuel pressure codes but they would clear before I could turn the car off (so I turned off auto-clear) lol!! Ended up lowering the E85 to 35% instead of the 50% mix and my trims are perfect now and I am back to auto-mapping fuel and boost holds the same if not better.

I had JB4 G4, DCI, and 40% e85 when I raced a stock e92 M3 DCT.
I couldn't pull away.. we were even from about 20-110.

Map 1 with just JB4 and DCI would definitely not beat an M3.

Agree Map 1 will lose especially against a 7DCT M3 with a driver who knows what gears to run in. I have beaten both I6 & V8 M3's on Map 2 & 335IS custom Map6 (old JB4) with just a FMIC & 94/95 octane gas.

The new JB4/G5-ISO has added more punch to the system but have not had a real encounter with an M3 while its been installed. Had two M3 drivers see the black (stealth) BMS decals in the rear quarter windows & back off.

Am still at the same, Tune+FMIC, but am now running 96/97 octane on Map5 or a custom 335IS Map 6. Logs show a consistant 16.5 PSI for Map 5.

Terry is still working on adaptations for the 7DCT on the newer beta firmware so will not run a dyno till things stablize a little more.
