I think streamlight makes a great light and i'm in the market for one, but if i'm out in the sticks and i can bring one light with me, it will be a surefire.

haha - 10 minute run time and $200 price tag? Still pretty awesome though. That'll stop an intruder dead in their tracks.

I actually just bought (2) Nitecore EA4 Explorers. One for each of our cars... 860 Lumens.
I got these because they were about the brightest compact lights you could get that still ran on standards batteries. Good price too.. $70/ea. Love them. http://goinggear.com/flashlights/fla...ool-white.html |

A member posted this in the "pic of the item you just bought" thread. I bought 6 of them as well and i agree with him. They are AWESOME for the money. We're talking a few bucks for the light. They are fairly well weather proofed, take triple A batteries and so for with using it at least 2 times a night to take the dog out for a month or so it's hasn't lost it's brightness. Super convenient as well with the magnet and hook.

MagLite is so old school these days, I have an number of them and loved them because of their durability until I bough this for my son at xmass
http://www.olightworld.com/en/produc...445&CateId=103 Hands down this thing beats anything I have seen so far it lights up our entire street more so than the light on our BMW. You can use it for personal protection, it has the light strobe feature and guaranty to temporary blind you and make you sick and lost of balance. Last edited by Maestro; 04-01-2013 at 01:35 PM.. |

Just picked up a ProTac HL the other day. Glad I came across this thread. I'm impressed - it's exactly what I was looking for.
