With v2.1, the time and RPM parameters will be user-definable through the software so that they can create the map switch conditions they want.

It involves completely new boost control strategies. Direct dual solenoid control, for one. This means that the PROcede drives the solenoids directly to control boost. Not simply by adjusting the MAP sensor signal and letting the factory boost control do the rest (which results in spiking, oscillation, etc,.). It also means that we effectively eliminate the code that results from boost targets not being met. It also means that we can dictate whatever boost profile we want (both at full and partial throttle) without the factory ECU thinking that there is a boost leak in the system (and inducing limp). Boost management also adjusts not only the max boost level depending on conditions and onboard datalogging, but also the rate of boost rise and decent. Both of which are used to avoid knock retard while still providing max power consistently. In the end, the car ends up feeling more like a high revving NA V8 and less like a turbocharged I6.

Nothing has broken on anyones' car. We just want to be able to satisfy everyone with respect to full throttle power delivery. Some want less low end/midrange/top end power. Some want more. Well, we'll give them the ability to shape their own power curve using 16 RPM Points. Each RPM point has a 0-100% input cell. 0% is no power increase over stock. 100% is full tilt boogie power output.

Provides a useful input for 1/4 mile simulations, 0-60 runs, etc,. I'm sure others will also reveal how it can be used to eliminate the speed limiter. Won't be us though...

Thanks for the info, exactly what I was chasing:rocks:.

I guess I will have to get up at 4.30am EST on Wednesday to place my order

Should be the same or 1 psi less. However, Shiv did mention that V2 will allow overboost when the conditions allow it.

Hi guys,
Dynos have already been posted from our cat-back equipped shop car on both 93 and 91oct. More dynos will come from customer cars in the next couple of weeks. It been real hot and we have been swamped with development work here lately. Peak boost has always been limited to 15psi, even with the overboost feature active

Would you say those are the roughly final dynos and are those comparable to a stock exhaust/93 oct?

Great product so far Shiv, really looking forward to the new features!

Ya I would like to know also I really don't need the proceed not to work because it's called throttle control and I'm the only one that drive my car and even if I let a valet driver use the car either way with 300hp or 420hp it's still a risk it's not like he's gonna stop raping my car if it has only 300hp as if he knows that.I want to totally disable this start up sequence if possible

I would like the map switching to be made of one standard (non-stock) map and a 100 octane map. I'll switch to the 100 octane when at the track or when the mood strikes using the short dance steps Vishnu will provide.

+1. Shiv, please tell me there's a way to just get the full PROcede v2.0 power without revving the engine every time I start up. I too am the only one who drives my car (unless there's some emergency or family/car situation and I very rarely...I mean very rarely valet my car), so this would be quite an inconvenience to me, especially when I'm in a rush and don't remember to rev past 1,800rpm after starting her up.

+3.....Nobody will ever drive my car, unless I'm having some work done, or it's an emergency.

I would also like maps for downpipes.
In addition, maps that change based on gear or speed would be awesome! That would allow us to launch in 1st (with a low-power map) without burning up the tires, yet have massive power in store for top of 2nd gear and up.

IMO Shiv implemented the map switch very well. He achieved what a bunch of customers asked for without wasting physical PROcede I/O's. I personally don't need such a functionality and as already mentioned, we will have the possibility to set the trigger-value with v2.1 by our own, solving the requirement to default to the tuning map for people like me.

Very good solution

Cheers

I think revving the car to 1800 rpm is fine in any temp. This is just above idle and does not require much throttle or load on the engine.

Shiv said V2.1 will allow you to select how long you wait to rev the engine and to what RPM you rev it in order to switch to Procede power.

Every time I turn on the car and rev it I will say, "Procede power: activate!"

Interesting. I may have to rev up my car every time I start it now?

^ Yes, looks like that. On a cold start my engine revs up to 1.400 rpm initially. Had a brief look this morning. A short rev to 1.800+ rpm is not a biggie .

It would be cool when the car would confirm that the PROcede is activated by another rev to 1.800 rpm

Would you implement an unfinished solution into a product when it is not fully ready? I think not unless you list as optional beta feature which is disabled by default. It is always desirable to use less IO for sure but at what cost. The user has no way to identify that the product is fully functioning or not so this map switching feature it not a good solution. All great engineers have one trait. A desire for excellence that is uncompromising. This map switching solution is a compromise and I think Shiv could do better.

IMO the reving swich is a good idea but completely useless and frustrating for me.

Question 1: I'd like to know if this feat could removed.

Question 2:IF (only if) I feel like I dont need all this power , could I switch back to my 1.47?

Question 3: Comming soon...
