Nile ordered a set of the Replica ZKW headlights and had them shipped to our facility. We requested we use the Morimoto FXR 3.0 Bixenon projectors, E55 shrouds, and 55w D2S 5000K Morimoto HID system. The shrouds were painted Black Chrome as requested. Please let us know if you have any questions! Enjoy.

Marc came in on site because he had a lot of trouble driving at night. About a year ago he had switched the OEM bulbs to the aftermarket 6000K bulbs on his 2004 BMW 330i. Color was nice, but the performance was not what he had expected but grew to deal with it. Eventually the performance got to him and we spoke about some upgrades. IN order to keep things cost effective, marc came in for the ZKW clear lens swap and brought in a set of the Osram CBI D2S bulbs. The difference is unreal!
OEM FTW!!!! Before: (6000k Aftermarket D2S Bulbs) After: Before with lens housing removed: After with a simple bulb swap: After with the Lens Swap: |

James sent over his E46 BMW ZKW Headlights for a proper repair/conversion. The projector bowls were badly burned and output was very poor. With our Morimoto FXR projector conversion, not only is output restored, its greatly improved. As you can see the lights retain a stock look besides the Umnitza Orion V4 LED Angel eyes we supplied and installed on this headlight. Please let us know if you have any questions!

Phil sent over a spare set of lights for his E90 BMW LCI. We removed the factory angel eyes and replaced them with the dual LED rings. The housings, shrouds, reflectors, etc were all painted Jet Black. Factory perma-seal was removed and replaced with OEM Koito butyl rubber sealant. Please let us know if you have any questions!

While BMW Lighting service providers are plentiful, LightWerkz always takes those extra steps to stand out amongst the crowded marketplace. Having worked with Wes before, we knew he was particular about the final outcome of any custom work we have offered him. Wes had contacted us even before he picked up his E92 BMW M3 to discuss options, and quickly sent in the lights once he had picked up the car. Below is a quick run down on the services and products used for this conversion.
Projectors/Performance - The factory D1S Projectors were upgraded with OEM ZKW Clear Lenses and Osram Xenarc CBI Bulbs. The CBI's are rated at a 5500K color temperature and offer the best of both worlds, high performance and an amazing cool white color. The clear lens swap replaces the factory frosted lenses to enhance all characteristics; sharpness, width, intensity, color, and distance have been improved. Angel Eyes - The factory angel eyes were removed and replaced with Umnitza's Orion V4 LED Rings. These LED rings have virtually no gaps between LED's and offer the strongest performance on the market. The brightness and color resembles the newest BMW angel eyes giving it a more modern and aggressive look to the E9X series. Some vendors take the addition step of painting over the top cross bar on these angel eyes, as well as the wiring. Most Do It Yourselfers do not. We took it a step further and removed the cross bar all together, and modified the rings to sit more recessed on the projector shroud. The end results leaves no exposed wiring as it is fed through the shroud, and no cross bar which cleans up the look of these rings making them appear more OEM-esque. Recessing the rings also leaves a gap between the lens and angel eye ring, making sure no marks are produced on the interior of the front lens over time, which is typically seen on many modified E9X series BMW's. Since the Umnitza rings dont fit perfectly enough to replace the actual angel eye ring on the cornering light, we mounted it on the face of the cornering light shroud after it was painted. Painting - All the interior pieces were painted with a PPG Jet Black and Clear Coat for an ultra deep shine that will hold up for years to come. The cornering light lens was tinted to allow light to pass through, but also to match the projector giving its a dual projector look. The projector lens holder was painted gloss black to match the housing, giving it a more uniform look within the light housing. On many, if not all, installers leave the lens holder the stock silver color which sticks out amongst all the black. Finally the projector shield was painted black to give it a darker appearance within the reflection of the projector housing. Sealant - Factory sealant was removed and replaced with OEM Koito butyl rubber sealant, to prevent condensation from forming within the lights. Please let us know if you have any questions! Thank you! |

Sam purchased a complete plug and play lighting setup for his 2001 BMW X5. We used brand new DEPO headlights, with preinstalled LED angel eyes. The Morimoto FXR projectors replaced the original aftermarket projectors, along with Morimoto 4300K D2S Bulbs and Morimoto 35w ballasts. Additional sealant was added to prevent condensation. Please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you!

Rashed had us convert a set of OEM BMW E60 M5 headlights to the Umnitza Orion V4 LED rings. This is the toughest perma-seal we have worked with to date, and after trying a few different methods we have come up with a clean, and non-intrusive method to separating the housings. The method is time consuming but certainly cleaner than cutting the lens off the housing, and then reattaching it with silicone. No other modifications were performed to the lights. The main difference is the color and uniformity of the brightness of the angel eyes. The Umnitza Orion's have a nicer, more modern hue of white to them, and they are perfectly uniform all around. On the stock setup, since the angel eyes are powered by a single bulb inside the cornering light location, the inner ring is always brighter than the outer one. The stock perma-seal was removed and replaced with the OEM koito black butyl rubber sealant. Please let us know if you have any questions!

Just curious… I have an 2007 BMW 328i with stock Bi-Xenon Adaptive headlights… I want my headlights to have the best quality and brightest LED angel eye rings, and instead of a full blackout I'm looking for the Euro look. I want to keep all my features (Adaptive, BI-Xenon) and have no flickering or error codes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance…

We just got these lights done for Jake @ ProtuningFreaks in time for BimmerFest East which is scheduled to go down this weekend in Maryland. These E90 LCI Xenon headlights have been opened carefully, and the factory permaseal was removed and replaced with the OEM koito butyl rubber sealant. Jake chose to use the Umnitza Orion V2 rings on his lights, and go with a custom two tone paint scheme. The housing and brow was painted OEM Space Gray and the shrouds and turn signal cover painted OEM Jet Black. Factory projector lenses have been upgraded with OEM STi 3" lenses and bulbs upgraded to the Osram CBI D1S Bulbs. Lenses also received a full Stage 2 restoration to bring these back to like new condition. Please let us know if you have any questions!
