I bought my BMW oil from ebay for $65 shipped. Also purchased the K&N oil filter there but forgot the price. It was pretty cheap though.
I keep hearing about M1 0W40, should I make the switch when I do my next oil change? My plan is to do them about every 6-7k miles. |

This right here oem but just isn't branded by BMW. I can find it on the shelf probably the only person that buys it where I live. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...er=340533_0_0_

$34/6qts = $5.67/qt @ costco
$22/5qt jug = $4.40/qt @ walmart Lets say you got the $5 off instant coupon at costco... It would still be: $29/6qts = $4.84/qt @ costco (but you have to remember there is no membership fee required at walmart) |

I run the German Castrol 0W-30, used to only be able to find it online or Autozone ( hit or miss ), but walked into Pep Boys, and they've apparently started carrying it. Normally get the filter from the dealer, because I tend to forget order it ahead of time.

Wal-Mart 0w40 Mobil 1. Use it in my car and my husband's Mercedes. Super cheap, and sometimes goes on sale even cheaper. The only thing around here is that a lot of times they are out of the 0w40, so when they do have it, I usually buy enough for an oil change in both cars and store it in the garage.
