Grrr that boils my blood..feel for you matey I really do.
2 weeks after I got mine back from the bodyshop; fully resprayed and perfect front end and some idiot in an A4 estate in front of me decided he was going to drive on the very edge of the road and throw up a tonne of stones and grit. Ended up with a nice selection of stone chips on the bonnet!

That sucks mate. Properly.
That said, I have heard of some fuckers doing this just because they see a car parked across two spaces and decide to "teach them a lesson". I park at the station most days and I've had someone drag a red bag down the side of it, leaving lovely red scuffs down the side. Worse still, I found a boot print on my rear bumper. Not even face on,but sideways - as though they had been trying to squeeze past my car and the wall behind and decided to use my bumper as a step. So now I have a big boot print scuff mark on the back. I've given up caring.... |

Same thing happened to me I spent almost a grand having all the dings/scratches etc taken out lat Nov, gave it a good clean last week and counted 8 scratches/dents which look like shopping trolleys or prams and still got slight mark after someone scratched the bonnet with keys. Its heartbreak in at time being a BMW owner and I would love to catch just one of these no marks. Got a camera fitted now and am just waiting for the first bite !.
