How about just using something like http://amzn.to/1j7Waeh and just cutting it to the right length?

If he could have a silicone made that's the same angle/bend as the OEM one so it lines up perfectly, it's would be much easier and greatly welcomed imho. |

No different than the charcoal filter delete, CDV delete or muffler delete. Most of our cars are out of warranty anyways. If +6hp gain is seen on E46 M3, why not give it a shot on our engines?

It isn't glamorous looking or the "smoothest" design out there, but it works and honestly with an engine bay that is covered in black plastics you don't really even notice it's there.

Your gains of 5hp & 10tq w/ the hose & muffler delete are noteworthy, granted your is the N54. I do wonder which of the 2 mods did the most... other then the silencer port and that other round imprint the OE hose is not that contorted.

Great to hear that from a vendor. There is almost always a cheaper alternative out there for most mods. I am going for an exact fit replacement similar to what samco or other silicone companies are doing. Should have a better idea about pricing in a couple weeks. Glad most of you guys are interested.

I just recieved it and It wont fit the angle is 90 degree to the intake from the manifold.
I was thinking of the(HPS 3.25' (83mm) 4-ply Reinforced High Temp 90 Degree Elbow Coupler Silicone Hose Black) but when I measured the oem cone it measures 14 inches and this hps 90 is only 9inches...anyone have any ideas? |
