Sorry, not a photo, but something I thought this group might enjoy.
Be sure to have your sound turned on (and watch it in HD, full screen). The hummingbird doing rolls chasing a bee is not to be missed. Be sure to watch closely (around 2 min 40 sec) and check out the baby bat under its mother. Unreal. If you never knew what goes on in the garden when you aren't paying attention, watch this - some of the finest photography you will ever see and includes some time lapsed shots. http://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/xHkq1edcbk4?rel=0 |

Bringing more Arkansas to the thread. Hit the twisties on the Pig Trail scenic road this weekend. Good way to learn handling characteristics of this car. Ready for autocross to start back up in a couple weeks to see how it compares to the old E46.
Was out of focus but Silver Efex kinda fixed it. |

That's aggravating, but I actually like the new look. Group administrators a bitching big time, but regular users with wide band width should like it, I think. BTW, great shot.

Thanks Dave. Like anything, I'm sure I will get used to it. I do like the way the exif displays now.

Classic pose with great eye contact. Were you shooting from your car-blind? I saw a grey ghost on Sunday, but then he was gone...

They are usually hard for me to get at, but last Sunday, two pairs, we're just flying low up and down the railroad tracks out in an old industrial area by the bay. There was a white tailed kite as well, but he stayed on the other side of the tracks, out of range for a good shot. It's a new spot for me that I will be checking out again. |

Great shot, Ed. I see the 1.4x TC III on the 500mm makes the bokeh busy just like it does on the 400 5.6.

Well, it's kind if hard to tell on this shot as the background is railroad gravel, so it might look weird no matter what. This guy was only about a foot off the ground.

Here's one I just now developed from our UK trip a couple of years ago. This looks much sharper in Photoshop that it does here. I wonder if my webhost is compressing images now.

Another pseudo-HDR from a single shot.

One day I was trying to grab a real bracketed HDR and the light conditions were changing so fast that it was really difficult. Sun, then dark, then sun again. Then it would rain for 5 minutes and be back to sun. PITA
