Thanks. Although the pic doesn't do it justice. It's awe inspiring to just stand there and look at that huge structure. And if you're very wealthy, you can stay there.
BTW, your Pike's Peak pic is pretty spectacular itself. I love how the cloud on the right just sort of ends like it hit a glass wall.

Nice Porsche shot John!
Mark, what can I say. Really cool dramatic shots of some great sites! That last castle reminds me of the French taunting knights from the Holy Grail. Look out for flying cows! |

Thanks, Ed. We've been blessed with decent weather. Warmer than what we had packed for, but mostly a mix of clouds and sun. Lots of haze these last couple of days. Only rained once for about 20 minutes. Not bad for NE England.

He was only about 20 feet off the side of the road.
The critter shot at 700mm pretty much filled the frame of my 1D4. The only crop I did on that shot was to take it from a 2X3 to a 4X5 aspect ratio. I saw about 3 coyotes that day, but this one was definitely the closest. I was actually glad I was in my minivan for a change. He was on my right side, so instead of shooting out the confines of the passenger window from the driver's seat, I dropped the center console and stood up through the sunroof and got off a bunch of great shots. |
