I want to install a trailer hitch on my car. What would be the simplest way? I'm assuming removing the rear tank and maybe some exhaust work? Your installation looks excellent.

a.j.c., Order hitch specific to 335D on uhaul website. $199. No customization will need to be done to exhaust or def tanks. I think I had to barely bend aft edge of corrugated tank shield a little to get room for cross member portion of hitch to clear it. About 1/4 to 3/8" at most. It's easy as the shield is aluminum. I used my hands. There is a hitch thread that I showed my install in.

To be clear, I did hitch way earlier than my exhaust discussed earlier. Hitch done in October 2013 and exhaust was July 2015.

I had to wait about a month. Another guy on this forum bought one later and he said it took 8 weeks. He was a little pissed but went back and looked on the site and that's what is says now (8 weeks). But, the sucker fits.😬
