Hopefully your dealer can give you an update today. But the ship docked last Sunday, and I think the VPC is closed on Sundays, so cars wouldn't start to be processed until Monday. If there isn't a backlog of cars (say, before EMDEN arrived), then 3-4 days is the typical turnaround through the VPC. So your car may be ready today to be put on a truck (train?). If there is a backlog, it could be more.

Note that just because your car is finished processing, the truck may not leave immediately. They may need to wait for more cars to be completed that's travelling to the Miami area, so this can add some additional days.

For an example, here's my experience. My ship docked Monday, March 10. My car entered the VPC on March 11. It was put on a truck on the morning of Friday March 14 and arrived at my dealer at around 5PM that day. The dealer detailed it Saturday (at his expense), and I picked it up Sunday morning.

That's hilarious! My salesman has been hiding from my calls like I have aids or something! He actually just called about 10 min ago and said he has no info from the computer as of today.He said it looks like it will be next Tuesday before my car arrives in Kansas City.

Just spoke to my friendly "client advisor". States he is showing my car arriving the dealership Sunday March 23. If it gets there early enough he would have it ready by 6pm. Thanks again Jerry and Ryan lets keep our fingers crossed. Im so fcking psyched! BTW, wouldn't it be nice if our local BMW dealerships would send us an email letting us know this info?

Really? The 23rd? That would be great.The dealers here aren't open on Sunday but if yours is showing up in Miami on Sunday than maybe mine might show up here in Missouri Saturday or Sunday.I'm waiting for the salesman to call me back with more info.Man I'd love to be cruising down Ocean drive like you will when you get yours,I've heard it's beautiful down there.

I have the same problem with my salesman calling me back about anything since ordering my car. He has been very poor at returning my calls. Today, I got so angry that I told the receptionists to tell him, " screw it, keep the damn car". I dont appreciate people consistantly not returning my calls. I almost backed out of the entire deal today over this issue. Its funny though, the salesman called me back within 5 minutes of my comment to the receptionists after 3 days of no replies back.

My CA told me today, "sometimes I see them come in a day early(Saturday) and sometimes they arrive a day later(Monday)." He still shows inventory delivery on Sunday March 23? I don't care as long as I get her by Sunday the latest! Yes RYAN Ocean Drive is definitely sweet but the cops have cracked down on cars "cruising the strip" so its better to park,sit down at an outside cafe and just stare at the beautiful women! Hope you guys get your cars this weekend so we can enjoy our ultimate driving machines!!

Salesman called me about an hour ago to tell me they expect the car sometime today. It depends upon what time they recieve it. He says if they recieve it by 4pm , oh well, scratch that, he just called as I am typing here to tell me that it just came in on the truck and he will be calling me shortly again to tell me what time to come up. I just called my salesman and he said my car will be arriving here on Monday and will be ready for delivery after the pdi inspection on Wednesday! Man this has been tough waiting but the wait is almost over! Hope the rest of you get yours sooner and congrats on your purchase...

Yeeees!! I just got home with it. Everything worked out perfectly. The car is absolutely beautiful IMHO. Right now I am reading the owners manual trying to figure everything out. I will wash it a little later, the shiny black stuff they put on the tires flung off unto the fenders. Later today after I wash it, I will take and post some pictures.

I love the car, just cant wait until after the break in period. So smooth. I drove it on some great twisties on the way home. It is hard to believe a car so smooth can handle so well. I am very impressed with BMWs initial build quality. It is much better than my previous Honda. Everything seems so solid and well put together. The car drives exceedingly well and looks awesome. I love Alpine White. I would advise anyone to wait it out and order exactly the color they want.

Hey,congrats on getting yours first!! I too am coming out of a Honda but have had a 98' M3 before and the Bimmers are always very tight and handle very well.Maybe try and resize your pics if that's the problem and post them tomorrow.I'll try and post some of mine when it is ready for delivery on Wednesday.
