it's on sale right now though... so tempting...

Tiago, do you have any Canadian retailers that i can buy this piece from? I tried N54tuning but they no longer sell VRSF stuff.

If i buy from your webpage, it costs 50 bucks to ship and there's import duty of $50 bucks as well. For something that costs $150, i have to pay 70% to get my hands on it. It's very hard to justify. Can you help me out here?

A few major things. The fitment is not as snug as the OEM. This allows the pipe to wobble. My mechanic had to reuse the gasket / o-ring from the OEM one. Also, putting it does not have a stop point like the OEM when pushing it on the turbo. No new clip? Maybe that contributes to the poor fitment. Sorry Tiago, this is not a finished product.

I appreciate the feedback but I will say this... When you buy a chargepipe from most manufactures they do not supply a new o-ring or clip.

Understood. On the website it states everything needed is included. I took that literally. The pipe seems to be stable with everything screwed into place. Hopefully it holds the boost ok when I go high.

The half ER pipe doesn't come with a new o-ring or clip. It also fits very snug.

Not a knock WH, this is about the outlet pipe by VRSF. So far I'd say get it. If anyone does, I'd strongly suggest that they get the clip and a new o-ring. VSRF should make them available.

Well worth replacing this at the earliest opportunity. Even 100% stock, these pipes are known to fail (plastic will crack) early. If you have any sort of tune, these will fail even sooner. Just do it.

For these, you use the OEM clip when installing the replacement. This is true for every aftermarket replacement of this pipe.

I just bought one. Can't wait for it to arrive .

To those that already have this installed. What should i be looking at in terms of time required for installation if I were to bring it to an indie?

1-1.5 Hrs depending on setup. Remove splash gaurd, drop intercooler, Remove Intake (Injen Intake for me) other varies, Pull clip on outlet pipe then remove. Then reverse everything. Not hard at all...

Agreed on time. A little grease or wd40 will make it easier to slip the rubber sheathing on the input of the intercooler. Spread a bit around on the inside of the big end of the hose. Once all is together and screwed down things feel pretty snug.

Nobody includes a new clip or a new o-ring. You're supposed to reuse the OEM clip and o-ring, just like the throttle body side chargepipe. BMW doesn't sell the clip separately although they may sell the o-ring. The o-ring creates the seal with the turbo's outlet, not the metal. If we didn't incorporate a bit of play in the flange you'd end up putting extra stress on the manifold, turbo, coupler, outlet and intercooler as they do move independently of each other.

We'll make the o-ring available for purchase separately once the holiday sales die down a bit.

We have yet to test if there are any gains but I'm expecting a few HP on 400whp+ setups. We'll have independent results once more of these get installed.

Relocated inlets for n55 in the future? Or is it not worth it with the size of turbo?

You would need to tune out the maf sensor and they would need to create a hole for the PCV to plug into. IMO there isn't a big enough market for this. I saw that someone on N54tech did it.
