Bump for a great gauge... however, I wish that the gauge didn't need to be assembled. I'd prefer if you sold the whole vent and just swapped the trims out and mailed back the stock vent.... just IMO. I'd rather pay to ship something back to you as a core fee or whatever than have to assemble that thing. The plastic is brittle and kinda scary to work with more than once.

We will have an option for this, just like the 135i always had. Basically we would ship it pre-assembled in an OEM vent, you add your own trim as the trim slides off easy. However, the new design also installs MUCH easier than the old one.
The OEM vents are close to 50 bucks if I remember so expect an upcharge for that option for parts and labor. Personally I have used my original 335's OEM vent to install and develop the gauge several times with hundreds of assembly and dis-assembly cycles and the OEM vent has not even come close to breaking... its a tough cookie. We have also redesigned the glass on the gauge to be 2 parts so the slats are not glass but plastic instead and the gauge is a lot more durable. |

Rick very nice update to the original. Would like to see what you have in store by the time you start shipping them out and how & when the tuners starts programming them to work together, as I believe most customers buying the V2 are tuned.
Any OLED display in the near future?

I would like the cheapest option possible regardless of how hard it would be to install
I don't like the placement of the 2 control buttons though...they should have been placed in the lower left corner, like on the first version. |
