MAERSK TIDE (9VEC): Who is on it?

Hey, you guys over here at the Maersk Tide thread are much more sophisticated than any of us on the Sagittarius Leader thread. No tracking what so ever over there. Doesnt seem like anyone has recently been able to get an AIS Live 2 week account so was wondering if someone with experience could put our ship into your account and give us an update. The call sign is 3EAB7.

Yeah, not sure. The Port Hueneme website still shows Maersk Tide arriving June 4. I have yet to see a ship arrive early. And according to the PH website, there are 1240 BMWs on that ship!!! I would not expect the port arrival schedule to change. They have you guys on the books for that date and I am willing to bet that the ship will adjust its speed to make sure it hits that date no matter what...

Well it's just kind of sitting out there... There seem to be a bunch of ships inside the breakwater, then another group outside where Maersk Tide is. It hasn't moved in a while. In fact, I count 22 ships including Maersk Tide waiting to head south through the canal. This is probably the reason my ship Carmen disappeared for 2-3 days before it started reporting again...very annoying.

This is so cool. The ship is in the canal and about to go under the Centennial Bridge. I am 99% sure we're going to see it too!

Holy crap. You guys aren't going to believe the photos I am grabbing. Under the bridge, approaching the locks at Miraflores right now. Once it's through I will post them all but right now I am screen capping too fast to upload also!!!

Many thanks again for the AIS-Live assist and the Panama Canal transit photos. It would be great if she actually does show up in PH 2 days early on 2 June, but the W&W website still shows a 4 June arrival.

Thanks! I wish I had the AISLive account when Carmen was going through the canal 10 days ago!! This was kind of a project to see how well it could be covered. We were lucky in that (1) it was a weekend and I was home, and (2) it was daytime and all the photos are clear!

Here is the last two reported positions to AISLive. Unfortunately my account will be closed on the 28th, long before Maersk Tide reaches San Diego (the first place it will show up on AISLive again before hitting PH). It was definitely fun though!! My car took 4 days from arrival at Port Hueneme to delivery to the truck transport and is due at my dealership tomorrow. Service is closed Monday, so it looks like Tuesday is the big day!!!

Of the ships I have followed, I have yet to see one change dates from what the Port Hueneme schedule shows on http://www.portofhueneme.org/documen...ESSELSCHED.pdf

The difference is that every previous time, the dates earlier than scheduled were completely booked. If you look at the port schedule, June 1 & 2 are totally wide open, so if it arrived early, theoretically they could take it. I guess we'll see what happens...
