if theres imperfections in your paint, learn how to use a PC.

i have SBM and if it doesnt rain I can go a week without washing it. If you use a QD on it every once in a while itll look perfect.

My car was a Vampire for the first couple of weeks when I got it. I avoided sunlight at any measure. I have since "corrected" the paint with the PC.

So when your car is dusty, do you rinse first then Z6, or do you just spray Z6 and wipe? I have been worried about using Z6 and wiping with my mf cloths for fear of scratching it. I'm thinking though if you blow the dust off with a blast up to 100, then park the car and wipe in straight lines that ought to do it.

What's your technique?

I think you have to have a big set of balls to get a dark colored premium ride. I have Mystic Blue and love the challenge. If you buy a silver BMW you are lazy or soft IMO. Once you go black, you never go back. wn3d:

Damn that's nice. Reminds me that I need to get my real camera out and take some decent photos.

Not to get off topic but ADHD what wax or sealant did you use? Very deep finish - great work. I personally became a detailing nut when I owned a Jet Black M3 for 3 years. In the end it just tired me out. I still love detailing but its all good with silver.

Now, that is one sweet, black ride.
As for the Cali Dusters (of which I am an owner of)...don't like 'em.
Yeah, it kinda pushes shit around.
Really, scratches the hell out of the finish, no matter what the product says...IMO...
